Why haven't you achieved perfection in your game controller yet, Sup Forums

What even are those?

le retro meme controllers for dumb nostalgiafags

have fun with your extra input lag

you can wire it too ya know

Concave buttons are retarded and go against the idea of a video game controller. SFC controller is the best version of that pad.

>Concave buttons go against the idea of a video game controller
So in other words, you can't think of a reason why you don't like the concave X/Y

those look like 8bitdo controllers

Those don't look very ergonomic

Why would you want concave buttons? are your fingers slipping off the buttons?

I don't play competitively/professionally, that being the only scenario where the extremely small input lag penalty the controller introduces would actually matter, so this doesn't affect me at all.

I bought the snes 30 pro yesterday and it's already becoming my Switch go to controller after only a few hours. It's quite comfy.

>he didn't grow out of the rainbow snes controller at age 8

wew lad

I have one coming on Monday. Kinda excited. How is it?

>Why would you want concave buttons
Comfort and feel

Why is this being shilled so much all of a sudden? Just get a usb adapter for a few dollars and use the real console's controller

Then it's a subjective attribute and there's nothing wrong with no concave buttons.

I don't know I made a shit post "this is the ideal controller" thread about it a week ago and it blew up.

Update its firmware immediately so the vibrations become minimal.

>purple
they were always blue to me. I'm colorblind

It works via usb too.

No, see, the comfort and feel are OBJECTIVELY improved by the X and Y buttons being concave. This has been confirmed in numerous scientific studies.

What am I in for? Plan on using it for Switch and PC

So it's ergonomics?
also I think I found your "numerous" scientific studies

1. I have that.
2. There's also the much cheaper iBuffalo controller, which is also a perfect SNES knockoff.
3. Neither of those options is wireless.

They are, I transplanted the buttons from a pair of turbochink USB knockoff SNES controllers

how the hell are you supposed to hold this and use the joysticks? i have a hard enough time with the fucking DS3

I ordered one but I don't expect it to be my main for joystick games. But it should be nice for platformers. Nice d-pad, but sometimes modern ones still want the stick. The joystick is nice for aiming bask in Ori and the Blind Forest, or looking up and down in Hollow Knight. I imagine it should be fine with that, but I'm with you that I don't expect to be running around and aiming with the sticks on it. Maybe I'll be surprised, gonna at least try it for Splatoon 2 since it has motion controls too.

>bask
Bash I meant

Why not all concave?

probably because another manufacturer made all 4 face buttons convex so Nintendo better not steal that brilliant idea

How do the buttons feel on that analog one? Do they feel like an OG SNES cntroller, being smooth and light, or are they really clunky like most off brand ones?

>the joystick is nice
I have one and noticed extreme input lag or deadzoning. I probably should have returned it if that wasn't the case for yours.

>scientific studies
Well microsoft is known for ergonomics dept. I can't argue with that but i still like convex buttons and analog sticks.

I'll just stick with my Hori controller for 2D games. 6 face buttons or bust.

Definitely a more pronounced bump of the rubber dome depressing than my SNES controller which is much mushier. Can't tell how much of that is the age difference between the old, worn out SNES and the brand new 8BitDo. It definitely requires more force to press in, but it's a very good feel. It feels sturdy, rather than stiff. My original feels good, but old. The SNES30 I've had a while longer and is somewhere in between, closer to the SN30 Pro, so it actually feels the best right now, solid but cooperative. I'm sure with some more break-in, the SN30 Pro will get to that point as well.

>Buying third party when you could be using the real thing

What's wrong with the purple one?

...

...

Are lz and rz digital bumpers or analog triggers?

If it's a Switch controller I don't know why they'd bother with analog

I don't want analog. I hate analog.

The Switch doesn't support analog triggers.

Superior.
I don't support homosexuality.

Ew

No, but XInput does, and the SN30 supports XInput, so they could have been analog. Still, they're not analog, they're digital.

buying one now
