You'll hate any multiplayer game if you judge it based on one session.

The best way to enjoy it is to drop school every round. Chances are you’ll die a lot, but it’s a great way to actually learn combat in this game rather than just running around and then getting sniped 100 times. Also if you do win school you get to shittalk to the corpses. So really it’s a win-win.

the new map is quite shit

CQC is still a big deal in pubg and it lets you get a feel for things before working up to long range fighting. If you want any loot worth a shit in the beginning of the game, most times you're gonna have to fight someone for it or engage somebody on the way out of your landing area. I recommend school.

It's more open ground than the last one and you can't drive as easily but it's pretty fun. I really like the Winchester but you're rarely at the right distance to use it and you can't put a sight on it.

The concept of this game is one of my favourite things in Vidya right now. The execution of the game and the politics around it are bullshit, but the idea is so fun it keeps drawing me back in. I wish I had a friend to play with so we could be tacticool and sweep buildings and check each others 6.

The midgame is a pretty uneventful compared to Erangel and the cities are so fucking huge. I like the southern island though.

Even if we ignore that fact that you can generally waltz naked through them and be fine, If you’re too dumb to run for cover you get precisely what’s coming to you.

I mean, you can drop in suboptimal places and hope that you get an AR or a sniper instead of an uzi, but that is a gamble. May as well go all in.
