Nope even if you reclass a manakete the wyrmslayer is still effective. The same applies to beast morph units in Fates and Awakening.

I remember not using her all that much because of how shit she was in Birthright so I had to use Hinata as an axe user (I gave him the same class as Fuga) and he was immediatly miles better than her when he could only use E-rank axes. Is there any other ways she can be replaced?

i mean like the tactician in 7, he gets some degree of spotlight early on, but afterwards you get forgotten.
that's the plan, you can still be broken gameplay wise, but you wouldn't hog the spotlight in the story at all.
