Would you play $300 plus tax and shipping for pretty RAM?
Would you play $300 plus tax and shipping for pretty RAM?
No. I'm not staring inside my computer while I'm using it.
i specifically only bought things that didn't have leds in my build
Just download some more RAM
I already have 2x8 3200 so no
Is mining gonna kill what little life PC gaming has left?
what if the console manufacturers are secretly running mining ops to fuck over the hardware market for PC gaymers
>his case has a window
Gonna? It already did!
If I had a lot of money, yes they look cute~~
I have 32gb of 3000mhz ram I never opened or used because of IRL stuff getting in the way of the new build I was making from last year, what would be the best way to sell it while avoiding being scammed?
I've heard horror stories about ebay and paypal for sellers, is there any sort of insurance or seller's protection I can buy/get?
Why yes, yes I would as long as it's free.
record every second of you getting said ram, selling it, packaging it, driving to the post office, then giving it for delivery and make sure the recording is one continuous cut or you can hope whoever bought your thing isn't a cunt
no, RAM doesn't need LEDs. Most lit parts fucking don't, it just sucks power
jesus christ
>pc gaming is cheaper guys really
>not having a case with a window so you can visually inspect your fans and dust levels
consoles would be just as expensive if they had the performance of a 1080ti
you can see fan speeds through software and what do you need to see dust levels constantly for anyway?
>i don't need a gtx 1080!
>settle on the gtx 1070
>need to rma my card
>evga: "we're sorry, we can't rma your card right now due to be out of stock"
>"miners been returning cards left and right once they're burnt out"
well they kind of are. buy a thousand dollar video card and it eventually pays for itself considering you can practically play every system for free with power to spare. Bleeding edge is unnecessary unless you're mining or rendering or editing
>consoles would be just as expensive if they were as expensive
Thanks for the input mustard
This. Also rgb lighting on the cabinet must be so distracting. I get distracted by my keyboard's capslock light, monitor's power light etc and had to put black tape on it all.
So idk how people can stand a super bright cabinet right next to them.
it's just convenient to be able to glance into the case if you have a problem
you can get a professional looking minimalist case with a window, they're not all ricey u-want-pray-gaem shit
My case sets on top of my desk hutch, so it's not even in my peripheral vision unless I tilt my head up.
My current machine is quiet, but it's nice if you have loud fans too, as the noise is above you instead of in one ear. Less dust than being down on the floor as well.
what kind of fucked up timeline do we live in where it's cheaper to buy a prebuilt PC and take out the RAM than just buying the RAM itself?
why are all the 1080tis out of stock?
They aren't that good for crypto mining and crypto shit the bed recently
Is the 1180 coming that soon?
>ships and sold by: literally who 3rd party jew
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW
In the timeline when market economics makes sense.
>crypto shit the bed recently
only bitcoin, the alt coins are rising good.
>Not just performing routine checks every couple of months.
maybe 3 days ago buddy
most shit is still down 10-15% and BTC can't even stay above 14K
>unplugging and opening up the case to check shit when you could just get a case with a window
>middle of 2017
>eager to build a new computer but wanted to hold off until black friday sales
>decided to just bite the bullet and buy everything right away
>2018
>realized i saved a ton of money for not waiting for black friday. probably would have spent a ton more if i did.
building your own PC is cheaper they said
not pictured: zotac 1060s going for $550
it's over guys, consoles won
>unplugging
what the heck kind of case do you have where you need to unplug stuff to take off the side panel?
Crypto is just a stupid farce in the midst of a crashing economy. Crypto was dead on arrival, always.
It's good for (((them))) though. The masses forgets about the underlying problem and puts all their "thought" into cryptotrash.
You never open the case without unplugging it first, that's just basic procedure so avoid fucking your shit up.
I won the lotto a year ago so I get like $700 a day after taxes, so yea I would just to spite you.
I still work full time and no one knows how much I'm worth.
lol
dude it's a removable piece of metal on the side of your case, it isn't even touching anything, what are you unplugging?
How did you react
Most cases do these days.
craigslists
You actually won that shit?
Damn man, remember to put some into an index fund. Get some stable free money building up.
You should do what I've always wanted to do on Sup Forums during christmas and make people do retarded shit and buy games for them
It's what I'd do if I had retirement no fucks given money
the power cable from the PSU you mong
>ram is fucking outrageous now
got mine for 60 bucks a few years ago
>GPU's are expensive as fuck now
got a 980ti hybrid new for 200 at salvation army
>CPU's are getting spiked a little
got a i7 4790k for 120 a few years ago
sucks that I can't do that now
nigga you stupid
Leaving it plugged in has the case grounded, unplugging it creates even more of a chance to destroy your shit from static.
...
>this is the kind of person who buys cases with side panel windows
The opposite is true, since static is caused by a difference in charge.
>everything always goes perfectly
christ i wish i could be there the day you accidentally bridge a connection somewhere by accident and fry a whole PC
All you have to do is unplug the power cord and touch a doorknob. Dont wear socks either.
>accidentally by accident
make fun of me please i deserve it
unless your power supply is in a vacuum the difference from opening your case is negligible since it's already open in the first place
Where do I found RAM that's free from the jewish conspiracy Sup Forums, I'm doing fine at 8gb but I crave more.
No. You have to live with it, user.
This.
Yea you CAN open it without unplugging it, but it's an unnecessary risk.
Why are those ones so expensive? Thought the 1080 ti was around $700
I literally have that ram in my pc right now, AMA.
Was it worth it?
>being this retarded
Eth was $900 a week ago. $1150 yesterday. Currently at $1250.
You deserved to be cucked from getting a gpu for being this dumb.
I bought 16 gb of ddr4 3000 two year ago for $120, corsair
>YES
This. I'll never understand the appeal of RGB. I guess some people are easily amused by bright lights.
No. People who do should honestly kill themselves.
>Intel CPUs getting patched to shit
>RAM outrageously priced due to cell phone demand and collusion
>GPUs outrageously priced because of cryptoniggers
My 5 year old PC is still good because of shitty consoles holding back developers, but I hope that lasts longer than this price gouging shit.
>he doesn't have one to conveniently check dust levels
Are you opening your PSU while its plugged in user?
How could you possibly bridge a connection and fry a pc?
Just mine some buttcoins to make your money back.
This. That kind of stuff is 100% manchild garbage.
eyy that's my case - it's really good
titan xps are cheaper straight from nvideas site, you'd have to be an idiot to buy a 1080ti for more than 1k.
I'll never understand people who go full autist over case windows.
Well, I didn't really get it for the light part, but it is kinda neat, as it matches up with my motherboard and goes throughout the whole case. It isn't overpowering though. Games run well, can't complain.
If you have any LED shit in your PC and you’re out of high school, you should be ashamed of yourself desu.
>double your power bill for an extra 3 shekel bucks
I found a lotto ticket on the ground. Curious and bored, I redeemed it and they said I had to go about 400 miles one way to redeem it, so I put in for vacation time for a few days and went. When they told me I won I was quite apathetic. They said that was different.
Too many beggars and people who don't deserve it.
I do plan to make a scholarship for white men only that would have helped me back I was in college.
>I do plan to make a scholarship for white men only that would have helped me back I was in college.
Lmao
Pretty much what I'm doing. I set claymore miner on my machine to run whenever it's idle and mine on Nanopool. Then I just hold/sell the coins when I need components. Sure, the GPU won't last 10 years, but I typically change my GPU every 2-3 years.
Probably making 80 bucks a month of ethereum of profit, and then whatever alt-coin I'm dual mining.
>Too many beggars and people who don't deserve it.
That's why you make them do retarded shit
Like make them prank call and record it, or have them post proof of sending off retarded messages on facebook, or break shit they own
>I do plan to make a scholarship for white men only that would have helped me back I was in college.
or that, just be careful not to make it obvious or you'll get (((them))) on your case
PCkeks are huge tools and companies know they can overcharge them as much as 6000% or more and some moron will buy it for bragging rights even though there's nothing out there that can fully utilize the hardware's power.
>the state of poor console plebs IQ
I paid 152.00 for those when they first released.
Sorry, they were better, 3200 speed.
Holy shit
send everyone with dubs money
