Or what Dead Space did. Keep mobility while shooting, but make enemies challenging to hit. Combine it with a decent resource management system, and you have the beginnings of a great game. I'm sure purists will disagree, but I disagree with them that you can't make a good horror game with good controls and smooth combat mechanics. All they need to do is not fuck up the gameplay with QTE garbage and ''set pieces''. Let the enemies and the level design do most of the legwork.

i want fixed camera angles because i dont think that 1st person will do it justice i also miss door loading screens. what i hope for is they bring back scenarios A and B.

There's no way they aren't going to use RE Engine, an engine that was basically made for
VR and FPS gameplay. There was also an interview done with the old Claire VA, who said they wanted actors who could do VA and mocap, which is what RE7 needed

-much more Mr X's role has been expanded greatly
-you will fight an early version of Nemesis
-Ada has her own mode unlocked after beating both scenarios
-Chief Irons turns into a monster and has 2 boss fights
-there's a boss fight with Marvin instead of him just being a zombie
-G has another form you have to fight
-there is a new monster that's somewhere between a licker and zombie

Well I personally like the notion of the environment affecting how zombies mutate. Though these are pretty much the only two cases. We never got the 'Sub-Zero mutant" from Code Veronica, or the like.

I will always maintain that RE7 is a good game made mediocre by the fact that the molded are the worst horror game enemy I've ever seen
and that having the bakers natter at you constantly makes them way less scary than they should be

You can cheat it. If you die on a boss the game allows you to swap out your items from the box but it doesn't count as you opening it. I can confirm becuase I technically opened the box during the final boss fight for a "4th" opening.

I wouldnt mind both, I really enjoyed RE7. If RE7 was more like RE2 it would have been amazing with better puzzles, areas, and more enemy variety/weapons.

I don't know if it should be like RE7, but I'm definitely not up to buying the same game again but with updated graphics like for some reason people seem to want with remakes.
I want an actual remake that changes how the game plays.
If it's gonna be the literal same I might as well just play the original. graphics aren't an issue.

Its funny how I had more fun with the special re-release modes than the base game. Playing as Wesker and corrupted Rebecca was hilarious.

It got made on the strength of the sales of REmake and Zero HD. I'd say it'll be fixed camera angles, single player only, RE4 Leon as bonus and will have all original bonus modes including something new that'll be as ridiculous as Wesker mode was in Zero.
