It was in an interview with Yasuda. He talked about how they always had planned to create a secound game set before the events of the first one. But it got scrapped due to techical limitations, and so he was glad that they now have the chance to create it like they always wanted.

There was nothing in this interwiev that mention the trailer. Just because he mentioned Evergrace does not mean that are making it.

Also there is nothing in the trailer that fits the theme of Evergrace. It is clearly Kuon.

Secondly all you guys ever mention when it comes to these "hints" are "well uhh there was this weapon/armor set with eastern influences" which is fucking nothing and not proof for anything

BB doesn't need a sequel. The story was completed with no lose ends. If it gets a sequel it will just be a different game witht he bloodborne title stamped unto it.

That being said, the trailer in question is either Tenchu or Kuon.

There's a bunch more, actually, FromSoft had a work application to a 'Dark Fantasy' game, a BB comic is getting published by the same guys that did the Evil Within and Wolfstein comics before those games got a sequel, the has been getting surprise content in the Chalices and Yamamura being on the DLC it's no so easily dismissed if you consider this game has 1) Blood 2) Eastern feel.

Not to say that any of this is conclusive, but I don't think it's just tinfoil hat shit either. Again, even if this isn't BB2 I do believe it's in development.

How likely is it that this is just gonna be Nioh - From Software edition? Based on the teaser alone it's definitely something set in Feudal Japan.

I do think a sequel isn't unwelcome either, in Dark Souls you fight against the gods of the world, in BB you at most fight against a couple of Great Ones and even some infant Great Ones, not anything groundbreaking if it's believed that there's basically an entire infinity of gods to explore, and setting BB2 on Japan/Asia would be an amazing move, that way they don't have to be tied to the Gothic feel of BB which was already explored to its fullest on that game. And I mean, Japan Folk meets Lovecraft? Yes please. Tenchu would be cool too, but BB2 would be the game with the most potential here, I think.

My money is on a completely new IP that no one will be able to guess, possibly another "Kings Field->Demon's Souls" type transition. One thing FromSoftware loves to do is spiritual succession and referencing other games(Moonlight Blade, Kings Field etc etc.).

They've milked the Souls series as much as they can without completely ruining it imo, now is the time for something new.

I'm honestly thinking it's going to be a Tenchu spiritual successor. It won't be a Tenchu reboot. It will be a completely new IP, much like Demon's Souls was to King's Field.
