DUSK

>first RPGs saved by some slav working in his basement (Underrail)
>now FPS saved by some slav working in his basement

How do they do it?

We are poor so we can only afford old games, we like them and try to make our own games similar to those.

shit game

That leaning headbob movement looks nauseating.

>implying wide spread piracy hasn't been a thing since Dendy

you can disable it.

The levels are way way way too short. I was expecting them to be at least a decent size but 90% of them are tiny little shits.

>slav
I thought he was american
anyway Dusk is alright but Amid evil/overload/ion maiden look like they might be better shootan games
at least indies are picking up the slack though

>people unironically like this mess

That shotgun rotation animation is messy.

>dev always around in the programming threads
>somehow OP wants to make us believe he's not the dev

really makes you think

>>dev always around in the programming threads
?????

>Dendy
I remember this shit. +500 games on one cartrige.

doesn't surprise me but the game is pretty good

Overload is shit, don't know about the other two though.

>Overload is shit

It is

Underrail didn't save anything.

Strafe is legitimately the best retro throwback to fps I've ever played

>How do they do it?
Their computers are too shit to run modern games. So instead they have to copy games like Doom, D&D and Fallout 1/2.

[moaning intensifies]

This.

Underrail was PAINFULLY below average and boring.

It has so fucking little content I couldn't keep myself playing it for longer than an hour.

it's alright. the level design quality falls off a cliff after the first few maps, and it's way too easy, but the challenges save it from getting boring

More games need a button dedicated to spinning your gun

>was supposed to come out last halloween
>could buy it but only get episode 1
>pushed back
>pushed back
>just released after christmas sales with 2 episodes in early access

Ben wanting it for ages but imma wait.

It was never supposed to come out last Halloween

sure? I remember reading that it was.

As a FPS connaisseur I know that this looks like the messy Blood 2.

Maybe the first episode or something but definitely not the full game

it was a placeholder date. the guy running new blood just did a bad job of making that clear.

Quake gameplay with blood aesthetic

>Unity engine
>Early Access

Episode 2 is much better and the level design gets better with each level.
Shame the final boss of the episode is disappointing.
