I've been playing Dragon's Dogma and one of my favourite things is climbing all over the big monsters in it. It's so cool.

Seriously? That stuff is horrible. I hate seeing monsters in games that are trying to be somewhat grounded and serious. Monsters and all that shit ruin so many games (far cry, crysis (aliens), crackdown, uncharted) they suck all the humanity and interest out of a game for me.

why cant we interact with big things in more interesting ways. Skyrim has paarthunax as the only interesting character in the whole game. I'd love to chat to a monster on theor perpective on life and death and love

I'm glad mounting now has mechanics regarding placement and movement when climbing a monster, but god damn, I wish they had it be more dynamic like in DD.
