Costco or Sams Club which has the better deals for new video games?
Costco or Sams Club which has the better deals for new video games?
Asa Akira bumping tactic initiated
Winco master race
both are shit
Winco doesn't have video games, does it?
Costco for that dank food court they got thats hella cheap.
Tfw local Sams Club is closing so no more tasty pizza
>Doesn't Safeway Selected Hits for excellent games at a great value.©
Costco used to have great deals on games but now it's all new releases instead of old unsold stuff. I got like 5 copies of Rune Factory 2 at 10 bucks each
Amazon
Costco and sams club are nearly the same food court and all. Hell I'd even argue sams has better pizza by the slice, wasn't as soggy
Sam's Club has the better Hot Dogs, and they got my cinnamon pretzels. Costco's been fucking up the desert selection in recent years. The Very Berry Smoothie got reworked and it's not as good, and the ice cream bar's been gone for some time.
petco
found a first release wii there for 40 dollars once
wut
I'm very confused.
weird....
they got dope ass deals on my cats food though
Amazon Prime.
worst thread on Sup Forums
I've never been in sams club. is it any different from regular walmart?
it's more american
It's like a premium walmart that sells things in huge bulk and requires a membership to use. It sells many things at a loss and make small profits on each sale, so the employees there typically bend over backwards and will do everything short of giving you a sloppy blowjob on the spot to make sure you keep shopping there. They typically get paid and treated better too so they don't always look like they hate life.
Also they sell extremely greasy, but good tasting pizza at a dollar per fairly large slice.
It's a membership bulk store like BJ's or Costco. Closing soon, though, I believe. Converted into warehouses or regular Walmarts.
costco for the food
They just downsized. They are still gonna be around.
>hear costco is selling legit kobe beef
>curious, decide to go with friend who has membership card
>like $1600 a pound
Jesus fucking christ, however I bought 12 pounds of hot dogs for like 20 bucks
what is the membership process? Do I need to bring a credit statement with me?
You give them $50 and fill out a form then they give you a membership card that you have to renew annually.
You pay the membership price upfront, basic one is $55-60, and then you're good for a whole year. No credit statement or anything needed.
t. costco employee
I don't think my Sam's Club even sells video games anymore. I know they used to.
>califag
>gas tax introduced, everyone station around me jumps up 60 cents for a gallon of 87
>except for costco gas that only went up 3 cents
how do they do it
...
Best Buy's gamers club. All games $20% off for two years
They sell it at cost, stuff like the gas and the food court are incentives to get you to shop there.
got a 24 pack of assassin's creed origins for only 1,000$
They closed 60 locations. Mostly in suburban areas that just didnt see population growth that was projected 10 years ago.
It's walmart except with more meticulously detailed research put into tracking what people consistently purchase together and adjusting their prices in such a way that people exclaim "WOW" upon realizing they've saved $4.95 purchasing bulk paper plates without realizing they've paid above-retail price on bulk Sporks.
Locked in that oil deal at the decade lows and have plenty of leverage to renegotiate when the deal becomes old.
>"Costco or Sams Club"
>mfw I remember when Costco was called Price Club
>mfw the 2-3 massive computer game aisles larger than anything in Electronics Boutique or Walmart
>hang around for an hour while the rest of the family was shopping
>Duke Nukem playing on sample PCs nearby
>I bought Doom 2 for $40 with some saved allowance money
where has the time gone
>buy expensive router 2 years ago from best buy
>gets the 20 dollar warranty
>couple months ago power goes out and zaps the router
>bring into best buy, no box, dusty as fuck with paint drops covering it (repainted the house in that time period) and none of the accesories
>give me the value I paid for it on top of the warranty value (north of $300) with no questions asked
>buy even more expensive router and modem with the money and another warranty
Best buy may be a meme but their geek squad warranty is no joke
costco is spooky sometimes
like they have everything about the area the warehouse exists in down to a science, almost
there are 4 different costco's around me in a 10 miles radius that I go to change it up sometimes
each one has different prices and quantity of items, depending on where it is
for example if there are a lot of muslims in the area there will be a lot of halal meats and shit
in chinese areas there will be a lot of clothes in small and medium, along with a shitload of ingredients only asain countries know about
in mexican area theres just an endless supply of cheap microwaveable food at ridiculous discounts
in the well off white area the amount of isles that are wine and beer is insane
but nobody ever believes me when i tell them to go to different costcos depending on what they need for mega savings, because they only go to the one nearest to them and think all of them operate the same
you realize ACTUAL kobe beef is as illegal to sell and own outside of japan as authentic katanas are. they're both considered works of art by japan and as such can only be sold within japan legally
Well whatever they were marketing as kobe beef was $1600/pound
>shops used to have sample PCs with games on them
christ al-fucking-mighty I remember the first time I played Red Alert 2 was on on a desktop in an electronics boutique
>ACTUAL kobe beef is as illegal to sell and own outside of japan
what are they going to do? Is INTERPOL going to send Officer Kenji to arrest me
Holy shit you in AZ too bro?
you do realize they lifted the ban on kobe beef since 2012, right?
But that won't stop people from mislabeling since most people don't know any better.
while the ban was lifted, its still not actual kobe. think of it as the shit they dont want and throw out, thats whats sold outside of japan
