If anybody is looking to find models from games then just look up Models Resource, that's the first place you're gonna wanna look. It's also possible to rip models from gmod and use that

And, what you have to take into account is the change in generational attitudes when it came to RP/social games like second life. Look back to the beginnings of second life. People who got into that game were around our ages now in 2003 (early to mid 20s and a bit older). and during that time attitudes on that game were ALOT more autistic/no fun. From that point on the game grew off of that attitude.

Fast forward to current. The attitude is pretty much the complete opposite. People want to goof off and have fun with it and as a sequel, it is what VRchat will build off of.

The only thing VRchat has to worry about is keeping up with its growth technicality wise. At the moment it is not doing so hot with the ever growing population and keeping servers running smoothly. They need to keep up with that and they should be fine.

How hard would you say making a simple 3D character model is? Like even just simple silly cartoon ones.

A game I have is going to have workshop player models in the future and I draw a lot but never got into 3D modeling. Would it be far fetched to want to sculpt a simple shaped cartoon character from a Blue print I drew and just slap my textures on it if I have no experience in 3D?

I am not sure but you would definitely need to learn the ropes first. I think what people do is they have sketches of each side of the character and model it over that as a guide. Definitely something you gotta really want to do.

Make a knuckles variant. Just think of anything really like the Soviet knuckles and Samurai knuckles etc..

It all started with Rec Room to be honest.

I've had VR since day 1, even played it pre-release, knew a guy who managed to get one of them.

Rec Room kind of started all the bullshit randomness. I remember my first time in rec room. We started playing basketball. An hour into it everyone was hooting and hollering and raping/jerking off on each other while others had cameras out recording it. I experience and even did some pretty fucked up things in that limited space.
Didnt take long for the cancer to spread, eventually the devs stepped in and started banning everyone.

The thing with VR Chat is no ones getting banned, and theres WAAAY more freedom due to being able to upload your own avatars.
