What are you playing on your 3ds bros?
I'm playing Pokemon Moon. I haven't kept up within anything Pokemon related since the Yellow edition. I'm pleased to know I still enjoy the hell out of these games.

Snake Eater 3D since i can't play it anywhere else, surprisingly playable though
Waiting until NDS Bootstrap runs Etrian Odyssey III
Which one should I get between Dragon Quest VII and Bravely Default?
you'll probably get more out of dqvii if you enjoy dq. i enjoyed bd's battle system but the story wasn't anything special, especially in the 2nd half.
charging it up atm, but i'm gonna play some shantae when it's done. gba entry. can't play games out of order
are there any decent racing games on it?
the faster the better
no mario kart pls
Fantasy Life or Trio of Towns worth picking up?
Ultra Sun, just beat the first boss
Actually pretty good
Recently played through Bravely Second, and going through Fire Emblem Echoes now
>want to upgrade from old 3ds to new 3ds
>looking at colors
>love the inside color scheme
>dumb SNES patten on the outside
so close
my r4i gold plus arrived today (´・ω・`)
ACNL and SMT IV on Chaos
Fantasy Life is good shit. Comfy stuff.
Ain't one of that thing's main gimmick that you can switch the outside plate at will?
I tried getting into M&L remake, but didn't make it. I'll play DQ8, looks amazing.
Finishing M&LSSDX it was as fun as the first time, it felt a little easier tho, maybe because I grew up and shit.
Shovel Knight and Pokemon US.
I've been playing Link to the past on my 3DS.
can you swap the outers of the 3ds xl? i thought it was only the small one.
Oh shit i'm retarded, didn't see the XL on the picture
Currently working on Bravely Second
I think I'm going to start DQ8 since this thread reminded me that I bought it.
...
40 hours into Etrian Odyssey V, went in blind and still haven't finished it.
Man I'm glad I got into this series.
Ultra Moon
Just got the super singles and super doubles stamps, hopefully I don't feel like killing myself trying to get the multi with an AI partner. In Moon I relied on setting Tailwind for Cynthia's M-Garchomp since it liked spamming EQs but I wasn't lucky enough to find her again at all.
Super mystery dungeon. It's much better than I expected.
>Almost goes insane trying to beat the final boss through the whole day
>Decides to scribble random shit on notepad to keep my mind together
>It actually works
Man, i haven't been this hyper about beating a videogame in a really, really long time, what a fucking ride
Still got the post-game stuff to do, wasn't thinking of doing it a first but the setting is pretty interesting
Fixed an error.
Only the two most recent right here.
Pokemon (Ultra Moon) - Just before Fairy Trial.
Yo-kai Watch 2 (Psychic Specters) - just collected all 5 of the Classic Yokai and currently back to Grandma’s house.
I have a number of others, but there’s more shit coming in the next couple months that are going to grab my attention, like Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology, Iconoclasts, and Shin Megami Tensei - Strange Journey REDUX. (Though SJR doesn’t have a specific release date yet from what I remember.)
I kinda wanna "downgrade" to a non XL. It's just too big to hold nice and comfy in bed and such.
Take em out, lets rate them
...
How’s that fem Layton game?
spent the day 100%ing this. haven't had a good platforming experience in a while and it's like crack
Pink XL because i'm a man
Grab a cup of coffee, take a seat and get lost in this comfey ass game
Old pic but this is my Standard model New 3DS.
I've got 3D Land, Kid Icarus Uprising, Oot, MM, Pilotwings, and I'm thinking about getting Samus Returns, A link between worlds, and Shovel Night?
Any other suggestions? Not a big JRPG fan
never played a mario rpg. which one should i start with?
>I'm pleased to know I still enjoy the hell out of these games.
Good. Gen 7 being bad is a meme.
Kirby Planet Robobot, not that huge on Kirby and Triple Deluxe didn't do much for me, but Planet Robobot was an absolute delight
Super Mario RPG
Is it difficult to hack the 3DS? Thinking of getting one off Ebay if it's cheap.
It's not PSP levels of braindead but still pretty fucking easy despite the number of steps, shouldn't take more than an hour to hack one
What games can new 2dsxl play natively (hardware compatibility)? I want to play ds, nes, etc. Not much so 3ds games. Also Is it easy to hack?
I love it honestly, not OP but I'm loving the Totems, that Togedemaru one is probably my favorite so far.
Togedemaru is good. The final one actually kicked my shit in on my first attempt, it was awesome.
I'm looking forward to it
Ironically enough my half dead Golisopod managed to take down the Togedemaru somehow, it had just a little health left and that last First Impression pushed it over. Was pretty intense, if I lost it would've been the first whiteout I ever got in Pokemon.
What game is this?
I've had the same idea and just bought a new 3ds today for £90, and a R4i Gold 3DS Plus for like £20 (from nds-card.com)

From what I understand, you just need the 3ds, a flashcart, and two micro SD's. Also a SD card reader, I think most flashcarts come with them though
legend of dark witch 3. 1st one is also a blast as well but much shorter.
Can you play nds roms on a hacked 3ds?
Really want to play ghost trick again
Gates was gr8 2bh family
Super had a great gameplay but fucking botched it at all extra shit. Core story was on par.
Mario Party 100 is nice. Though I'm sure after the 100 World section or what ever it'll be old
Got ultra sun and dropped it, please tell me it gets better otherwise it was a pointless purchase
I only played Moon, but everyone at /vp/ says it's just like a DLC from sun/moon. I haven't bought it, they treat players as if they were mentally challenged, it has gone far too simplistic and kiddy
What point did you get to before dropping it? Personally, I got bored with Moon just after the Volcano trial; it wasn’t until US/UM came out with some new mechanics that I gave it another shot and got past the point I stopped last time.
I fucking hate the deadzone, it's unbearable on some monsters. It's unnoticable on MH4U since your finger is literally taped to the R button but in here there's none of that so you basically [don't move] -> [walk] -> [full sprint] and the c-stick is so sensitive that you basically have to push the thing all the way. And it takes it toll after an hour or so.
The game is max comfy tho.
Gameplay-wise, BD beats DQVII hands down. Story-wise, DQVII is a a step better, but its not a masterpiece either.
Music-wise, BD wins. Revo > midi version of Sugiyama.
I just got a 2DSXL and I'm starting to think it was a mistake without the 3D. Recommend me some games that would convince me otherwise. Eshop games would be good too. Recently got into Legend of the Dark Witch and the Parascientific series.
I was watching Dunkey's best of 2017 vid and he said that the Shovel Knight dlc was free. I just assumed that you had to pay for it and I hate paying for more of a game I already have but it turns out it was free and I'm loving it.
I feel a bit dumb for thinking I had to pay for it but I'm happy to play it now, Shovel Knight might be my favourite game, idk.
It's so comfey I'm actually concerned
Just got a galaxy n3ds for like $40 off, never had a 3ds line console because was meh at the start. I have ocarina of time 3d and luigi's mansion, next is animal crossing. Comfy so far.
My piece of shit phone camera doesn't do it justice. The colours on the screens are both really fucking vibrant and nice to look at that I've convinced myself I got a rare console with both of the good screens. Fucking love this thing even if it isn't the improved new.
Can't wait for Alliance Alive and Radiata Historia or what ever the fuck it's called.
Yes, you can, search it on YouTube
3DS games worth playing
Etrian V
SMT IV Apocalypse
Strange Journey Redux
DeSu1
Shinobi 3DS
FE Awakening
Everything else is shit.
>none of the Pokemon games since HGSS have an option for online coop battle frontier/train/tree/doubles
FUCK
YOU
>onry local coop prease undastand
>>none of the Pokemon games since HGSS have an option for online coop battle frontier/train/tree/doubles
I knew that shit used to exist.
Get the small one you pleb.
where can a man find such a background?
Playing Platinum for the first time, does that count if it's on my 3ds?
Fuck I miss 2d pokemon more than I thought I did, fuck SM/USUM specifically.
Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3. Also downloaded The Hohei off freeshop. A Japan-only WW2 shooter in which you play as an American shooting japs is quite jarring.
A New Nindendo 3DS (JP) model. Love the color of its ABXY. It has served me well for nearly 2 years.
Mine is the same, but European. Not that region matters when it's hacked.
i just finished the superstar saga remake after having missed the original and i loved it and want to start partners in time but i'm afraid i'll get burned out. is it different enough that this won't happen or should i wait?
