I first played her game in January 2012 and fell in love with the style, the combat, the music, the aesthetic (and her ASSthetic). I bought a Wii U solely for Bayonetta 2 (well, it's what pushed me to buy one at least). I only voted for once on the fighter ballot and it was for Bayonetta. I think she's an overall awesome character with an awesome design and awesome arsenal of weapons and attacks.

What point is there in them spending the rights on the franchise? With 2 and 3 exclusive to Nintendo systems (and they will ALWAYS be exclusive to Nintendo systems) how is Platinum ever supposed to make a new Bayonetta on a different platform? Sony or Xbone fans would not buy Bayo 4 when they have never and cant play Bayo 2 and 3. Bayonetta is effectively a Nintendo franchise even without owning the rights now.

I like Bayonetta, but absolutely loathe fighting her.

I'm a bad player, I acknowledge that, but her, Falcon, Link, Samus and the space animals gather the most repulsive players.

W101 is already owned by Nintendo. There’s a decent chance if 102 is in production that we might get Wonder Red in Smash

More or less. The majority of her games will be on Nintendo consoles, with only the first appearing as multiplat.
No reason she couldn't be on Sony or Xbone at some point, but it wouldn't be Bayo 2 or 3, only a potential fourth if Sega decided to pay for it themselves.

Yep. Bayonetta presumably dies in the teaser. When a witch dies their soul belongs to their pact demon, so Bayo is going to go to hell and I presume try to fight her soul back from Madama Butterfly. Maybe this game will lack wicked weaves.
