You faggots would argue about anything.
A or B
they're both mathematically equivalent. there's no advantage in using one over the other.
DUAL WIELD
Sword A, because seeing *miss* in videogames fills me with unyielding reage
...
>95% chance to hit
>Miss!
depends on how armor is calculated
Consistency is a valuable thing in a weapon
They deal exactly the same DPS with the difference that A is far more reliable, so A all the way.
Now if the right sword had higher damage at the cost of unreliability, I'd probably consider picking it.
B because I like seeing the biggest number next to damage
choose wisely
I'd rather be more consistent then miss every strike
What happens if I use both?
This.
The true debate
B has a nicer colour
A
B because it's faster
b because two handed grip
If forced to choose only one I'd take left for extra bling that doesn't encumber my fingers; otherwise I'd just take both for maximum bling.
A because im not a faggot
60% accuracy sounds like piss
it depends on if you're fighting a ton of enemies with between 100 and 150 health or not. if so, B would be better on average. For a large boss or enemies outside of that range, definitely A so you can put in damage when you intend to
A
Accuracy is better, especially in turn based games. If you whiff a round, you could end up dead in the next.
B, it's easier to hit slashes than stabs
World's gonna implode
I'd rather have a sword with 10% accuracy and 900 damage.
both
use A by default and B if i'm in an all or nothing situation
A cuz it won't break after 2 hits
also horizontal punishes and str builds
>miss
>miss
>miss
>miss
>miss
>Dead
If I can get accuracy buffs, sword B
If not sword A
don't hit the camera, man
A if I need something with a decent amount of utility.
B if I need to slice soft things for whatever reason.
I'll take the one with more accuracy, fuck the extra damage.
Patrician savescummer's choice.
Neither. Unarmed build
...
>mage class has a perk that makes you deal +5% more damage per magic ring equipped
>you can grind for infinite Ethereal rings
B, it has been folded thousands of times until it is strong enough to cut bullets
>both equal
Not if its Morrowind. The 60% hit chance weapon will never land a hit ever.
They do the same amount of damage.
>60% hit
Total garbage.
B can easily cut A in half.
That's in theory. But we all agree that Sword B while being risk rewarding is an utter shit due its missible range. Risk is not you go with common doing at the cost of your life.
still go A for fashon points
Give me the sword that has a 0% chance to hit but does ∞ damage
This, just drink accuracy juice.
...
100 * .9 is 90, and 150 * .6 is 90, but infinity * 0 is infinity, so it's way better than either of these swords. infinitely better, even.
That's not how infinity times zero works.
Depends
If there's an item that synergises the action of having extra equipment then the ring of the ringwearer seems useful.
Ethereal ring looks like an useful item for crafting or merging if there's the option.
nigga wat
there's straight up a math theorem about how any number multiplied by 0 is still 0
Sword A, they may theoretically be equal, but you can bet your ass that that 60% accuracy will act more like 20% when its actually in play.
how does it feel to be a mental midget
Threadly reminder
B because its cooler imo.
a
B transmog'd onto A
...
anything * 0 = 0, but anything * infinity = infinity.
the thing you're mistaken about (and tbf, most people are as well on the topic of infinity) is that infinity does NOT behave like a normal number.
50 + 50 = 2 * 50, but infinity + infinity != 2 * infinity. it's just equal to the same infinity. it's not bigger or larger than the previous two infinities.
so while intuitively, "number" * 0 = 0, it doesn't work the same with infinity.
A because katanas are cool and no amount of fedoras or autism will ever make me ashamed of liking what I like.
A because I like the way it looks better
A cause I want that hand guard
B because it has higher crit.
B
This highly depends on the HP of the opponent/s.
If they have 100 HP, Sword A but if they have 150 HP, Sword B.
What? From what I recall not all infinities are the same, they just all represent the concept of an uncountable/impossibly large number.
I'm fucking retarded, I meant B.
Fuck you.
*Blocks your path
Grind ethereal rings forever so they drop with extra stats, extra HP, extra DMG, etc.
just look at any pokemon metagame and you will see that people have always used 70-90 bp high accuracy moves over 120-150 bp mid accuracy moves
A.
I am not a lucky man. the 60% would probably miss 3-4 times in a row when I would most need it, then I would be dead.
A, since there is a much higher chance of not having as much overkill.
I'm a hopeless weeb, give me the honor.
These images are so retarded you can't make a decision unless you know how often you attack with the weapon
0 * infinity is undefined, not infinity.
>something with 60% hit accuracy is mathematically equivalent as something with 90% hit accuracy
how the fuck do you possible figure
That's like saying "little girls can't fight a full grown man."
I'm still taking the loli.
actually both are wrong, you more tho, and yes there are multiple infinities as in
Lim(x->0)(1/x) < Lim(x->0)(1/x^2)
it is true inf can't be treated like normal numbers, and for the same reason you can't multiply inf*0 because that's not defined in math
what we can do however is study with limits on proximities to infinite:
Lim (x->0) 1/x = inf
Lim (x->0) (1/x)*0 = 0
or if you wanna get more fancy:
math.oregonstate.edu
Sword A hits 9 out of 10 times = 100*9 = 900 damage
Sword B hits 6 out of 10 times = 150*6 = 900 damage
...
Incorrect. The only situation this would be true is in a true vaccuum and with an enemy that has some multiple of 450 hp.
I wish i was this smart, fuck
Sword B has advantage over Sword A if the enemy has 450 HP, though.
A, hand guard and is heavier
It doesn't really matter what anyone who says Sword B is better says because they're objectively wrong and just shitposting anyways.
Anyone who has ever had to deal with hit chance in an RPG would pick Sword A.
0 * infinity is 0. Anything times zero is zero.
adding zero to itself an infinite amount of times is still zero.
The problem with your statement is that infinity is not a number.
only true for finite operations, aka not multipling by infinite
Choose wisely
>Buying crypto in 2018
Generally speaking, left is better. Especially if the enemy has above-average evasion.
>apparently ripple is surviving
No, it was a meme. It crashes hard.
Jesus Christ you're pathetic
Ugg have rock. Rock better than stick.
Sword A because it's blue and I hate the colour yellow
Alright lets assume these two swords swing 100 times and compare to their accuracy given results match projected accuracy
100 damage times 90 successful swings is 9000 damage for sword a
150 times 60 is also 9000 but for sword B
So both would deal the same damage even if swung just 10 times as logic goes.
Meaning you would be fine with either sword theoretically.
But now you must factor health of attacked. Lets say its at the projected 9000 health.
Which sword would be most likely to kill first?
Technically it would also be the same assuming attack speed is constant and final results reflect projected odds perfectly.
Both are the same effectively
Sword A.
Despite having slightly more damage B would still feel less effective to me in use by missing more often, it would be more frustrating than just doing less but more consistent damage.
well Sup Forums?
