I don't understand why people dislike them so much. It makes things so much easier, when I'm upfront an enemy I move the camera in their general direction and then refine my aim with the gyro, that's how I always get perfect splats. Same with dodging, it's not that hard.

It's like I said. They're just too afraid/stubborn to try it. Or if they try it they'll convince themselves that they hate it without giving it a fair shot. There are people who play Splatoon hell-bent on using stick controls only, and wonder why they get rekt by literally anyone using motion controls because they can aim faster and more precisely than them.

Play the singleplayer before playing the multiplayer if you've never played Splatoon before. It'll teach you the basics of the game. You also get vouchers from it that give you bonus exp and money to get you started.

Recently I happened to play Halo 2 for a bit and I ended up instinctively moving the controller in the direction I wanted, only to eventually realize it wasn't doing shit and the normal stick aiming was the clunkiest shit. No wonder these games implement aim assists

Increases your exp gain, or increases your money gain. If you get a drink ticket it slightly increases gear exp gain and slightly increases the chance to get a corresponding ability roll

That entire mechanic is so retarded. Grinding for a rate up chance to MAYBE get the sub you want. And it only lasts for 20 matches. They should've just let amiibo give you chunks daily. The amiibo are so useless otherwise.
