>thats nice honey you need to take a break from runescape and take a shower
$18,000. US Dollars. Which I can and have cashed out many tens of thousands of at will.
That’s nice dear
Have you paid off that student loan yet?
>Which I can and have cashed out many tens of thousands of at will.
lol no you can't keep roleplaying though if it keeps you happy
>yeah dad I cashed out 18k bitcoin today it was pretty cash
>son you need to move out. we're tired of you playing runescape all day its time to get a real life
man if i was making that kind of bank and still posting here i'd kill myself
Nice projecting
...
>put $20 in for kicks
>it's now $15
lmao
can't imagine what it would be like to have $80000 in there and watch it just evaporate
What’s Bofa?
what happened to /biz/
it's just pinkposting now
I don't even understand bitcoin. Unless you have a coin farm, which I feel like you'd have to be rich to have anyway, do you literally just buy into bitcoin and hope that it goes up in value and then sell that shit or what?
Crypto-currency is trash in my eyes but I don't understand it so I can be made to think otherwise.
Bank of America.
Bitcoin crashed 20% and altcoins shat the bed harder. None of them know how to hedge.
Hello poorfag
>having student loans
I feel bad for you
I daytrade bitcoin with leverage on BitMEX. I’m a scalper, so I get in and out within minutes at ideal setups (usually, sudden deep liquidations caused by panic selling, which always bounce back at least partly). You can short bitcoin to bet against it.
>/biz/
/coin/ you mean
Not him but I'm a millionaire and I didn't know that.
Maybe he's not an American either.
/biz/ the musical
Yeah it's impossible to farm these days. The only thing you can really do is play the day markets, but seeing as how transactions times can take upwards of weeks now even that's not a good idea.
How’d you get to be a millionaire?
best thing to do is laugh at the people crying as it plummets
and laugh at the people crying because they didn't buy during or after plummets
it's literally win win
>seeing as how transactions times can take upwards of weeks now even that's not a good idea.
The longest I’ve ever had a transaction delayed is three days. Usually they clear within an hour or two, or just ten minutes if the recipient only asks for one confirm. You won’t be delayed “for weeks” unless you attach some shitty ten cent fee; I paid 0.01 BTC for my last transfer (of $100k) which at the time was $140. That was overkill, but I needed speed.
Trump style, small loan from parents that I invested correctly. Made 2 million of Samsung stock alone.
Trading bitcoin
I lost around 40k today. But it's not like it wont recover.
Please just stick to actual graphics
Enjoy your capital gains tax
Will you send $600 to my bitcoin wallet so I can get a start in trading?
>within minutes
>Transactions in Bitcoin take hours upon hours because of shitty tech.
...
It’s just income tax. It’s a full-time job. And I made more daytrading than I would have by long-holding anything.
So there.
The real fucking nightmare is the reporting requirements, since I have thousands of trades and most of them don’t involve USD.
Get a job. I started last March with all $2000 I had in the bank plus a $2000 credit loan. It has to be your skin in the game. You have to work for it.
Fucking this also post a twitter acccount or something where we can follow you for trips and tricks. I will pay you back in the future.
I do have a job, I just don't have the kind of spare money where I can just casually risk $2000 on crypto.

Send me a little something, please. Surely you can afford a tiny bit of generosity.
> I’m a leet haxor I know about bitcoin
ok and ? I can also go to the casino and win 18k that doesn't mean its a good idea.
If you aren’t willing to risk and lose your own money, however much, you can’t trade. etfdeniedbot on BitMEX is a kid who went from $300 to a quarter-million in last year alone.

You must be totally responsible and independent, or you will fail.
Did you know there are professional poker players?
Trading is only gambling if you don’t have a system and profound understanding of market behavior attained by watching the candles 10 hours a day on multiple timeframes, as well as keeping up with daily news.
I am not saying its gambling. I am saying there is no way of proving what you did isn't simply some positive variance. And with the amount of security trading that goes on people are going to have awesome returns and come out flat broke. Doesn't justify what they did as good or bad.
>I am saying there is no way of proving what you did isn't simply some positive variance.
Same could be attributed to any source of revenue or event in the universe.
People are people. They behave predictably. I only have to be right 51% of the time, employing equal risk management, to make a profit.
I only have to be a better trader than most, and most crypto traders are fucking retarded, so there you go.
Get off your high horse, you said you put up $2000 of your own money plus a $2000 loan, which is not your own money. I highly doubt the $2000 you put up yourself was ALL the money you had, or that you didn't have something to fall back on in case you got screwed. I have no way of getting a loan and no family or nestegg to fall back on in the event I lose money investing in crypto. I make just enough to pay my bills and buy the bare essentials.
You sound so retarded, I can hardly put it into words. "I only have to be right 51% of the time" is the stupidest explanation for all of this because you don't understand the general intelligence of people mining when it comes to making a profit and if you actually had this mindset in the first place, there was literally nothing stopping you from just doing it years ago in the actual stock market. Crypto isn't any safer, it's going to crash and burn and you are either going to lose like anyone else or gain like anyone else unless you actually have years of experience or guidance.
Saying, "Everyone is retarded" is really naive.
How can you even tell someone to get off their high horse when you are begging for money? Fuck off.
Thanks but im not gay
>plus a $2000 loan, which is not your own money
It was my liability, and therefore my responsibility. No one else’s. It was all the money I had and all I could fall back on was a meager paycheck that would just barely bail me out. I narrowly dodged multiple overdraft fees after sending funds to the exchange.
I’m not giving an anonymous beggar on Sup Forums $600. Fuck off.
what kind of response is that dipshit ?
Money is either:
a) your own
b) your liability
c) literally shit you stole from somebody
great advice mong.
The point made is that ME GIVING YOU MONEY does not constitute a liability on your part, since there’s fuck-all I could do to force you to repay me, so you have no compulsion to be responsible for it.
Go bitch in some consumer rights thread about videogames being too expensive or some dumb shit.
>Crypto isn't any safer, it's going to crash and burn and you are either going to lose like anyone else or gain like anyone else
You should read the OP where I mentioned I was shorting, and then go look up what the definition of shorting is.
I’m diversifying my portfolio.
You're the one talking about this shit on Sup Forums, get your faggot crypto bullshit off of Sup Forums and go to /biz/ already you humblebragging faggot.
