Haven't played it in years, I've heard there is still a small community on it though

kamadan is still relatively populated, but the economy is down the toilet. still fun to play, such a unique game, especially nowadays. always thought something would come along and try imitate the skill system at least, but i havent found anything

I adore the world they built and I probably should replay the whole game sometime before they take it offline eventually.

i dont think theyll take it offline anyitme soon, still too many people buying alt accounts and stuff. ive been considering getting a 3rd now just for storage

Yeah it's a pity noone has tried I still think the variation of builds and the battle between the devs trying balance shit and players finding new ways to make seemingly useless skills become OP was fun as fuck.
Also healing and prot skills, mana management, caster pressure skills were really well done as well

good thing about playing now is no one really cares what build you run (if you find another person to play with) so can go for all those builds you always wanted to play but kept getting kicked for. except in HA, they still autistic as fuck, but no more rank requirement at least

also if anyone ever wanted to play heroes ascent and hold halls or anything this is the time. its filled with bots mostly now but once you actually get to halls you usually get a couple real games at least

I attempted playing it again a few months ago but it's not the same without my old lads anymore and the knowledge that utopia will never be.

yeah it definitely isnt as fun just running the 100% optimized hero builds and rolling through everything, compared to a full human team

canthan new year is coming up in a couple weeks, time to work on that lucky/unlucky and maybe even gamer

I started a new character several times and I never even got to max level.
I love MMOs but that game is simply not for me.

that's not true in the slightest. You hit lvl 20 so fast in gw1 that it seems weird to me that they even have levels instead of just having everyone maximum

Gw2 leveling is the best leveling system ever done
Actually I'd rather level up a few more characters than to grind gold for ascended gear because so far leveling has been the best mechanic I've encountered

Was the Necromancer a fun class? I've always liked summoner type classes but they always are poorly executed in most games.

I still play it, started a new character with SO. We sucks at vanquishing but it's fun to create 8man builds.

Yeah, you can either go curses, minions bomber, grave master or full conditions.
