Gal Gun: Double Peace was basically a light gun game with some rubbing mini-games at certain parts of the story. I'm not 100% sure how Gal Gun 2 is going to work, though. Part of it seems like sort of a FPS, where you have free movement in specific areas. Part of it, though, seems to be still on-rails, but with the ability to duck or lean added in. I guess we'll need to see what they've changed with the game for this sequel.
I still need to locate a few outfits in Double Peace.

It's definitely coming for PC eventually; Gal Gun VR was a PC exclusive and was basically a prototype for Gal Gun 2. A lot of the mechanics they introduced in Gal Gun VR are returning for 2 like the demon sweeper.
