Does Arkham Knight's ending annoy anyone else? It bugs me that it’s open to interpretation. Arkham is by far my favorite video game series, and I hated the lack of a definitive ending.

arkham was a great series, loved all games, loved the soundtrack, the bat is alive, but its time to take a break

>Interpretation
No, the ending is pretty clear. Bruce Wayne killed himself off so he can become Batman full time.

You're not the only one. They had Paul Dini writing Asylum and City then they dropped him to do everything in-house for Knight, and I think the game suffered for it. The Animated Series is for a lot of people the definitive Batman, having one of the best TAS writers on payroll and dropping him was a stupid move. I loved Knight from a technical aspect, I had a lot of fun with the game but the story was dumpy and I'm disappointed that there wasn't a definitive conclusion.

>and I hated the lack of a definitive ending.
Welcome to modern media entertainment. They do this purposely to set up potential sequels for shekels.

pretty much everything about the game annoys me

>this is totally the last Arkham game we're making guys
>buuuuut we'll leave it open ended in case we change our mind later after our next project flops

Knight's ending will be irrelevant to Arkham's Revenge/Rebirth/Remembers or whatever they title the inevitable new Rocksteady Batman game

So he became a ghost or something? WTF? How?

He's Spectre now, duh.

The reveal of his identity to everyone was stupid. Even now if he comes back as a new Batman, everyone is just going to realize the billionaire faked his own death.

Batman has a time machine thing that can resurrect him should he die. Not baiting at all, this is confirmed canon in the current comics.

Basically, Batman is essentially immortal so long as he exists in other multiverses.

You obviously have no idea how comicbook stories work.

Publix knows his face therefore he staged his death to make people believe he was dead having seen him fully suited walk into the manor. Several people have assumed the mantle so if he shows up they will assume he's just someone else using the title and gear.

You'd have to be retarded to think the ending is open to interpretation.

Anyone else liked predator segments way more than brawling segments in Arkham games? I've always thought fighting as a bit of a chore, while having a blast during predator parts. Using different gadgets, scanning the environment, planning in which order to take out the henchmen, etc.

...

It was great. My one and single complaint about it is the Deathstroke fight. It didn't make sense for it to ba a tank fight. That's about it.

I really enjoyed the Batmobile segments, especially the Cloudburst tank fight, and the second identical one
I loved the predator segments, it felt good knowing if you fucked up you'd get shot to death, and it really gave me a sense of accomplishment when I did clear the goons.

Deathstroke knew batman was no longer a newfag so of course he took him with the tank, he fucking punched out titan thugs and titan joker, broke his arm and then immediately went to the city to punch more thugs, everyone saw it on tv.

I still play the challenge modes in AK when I'm bored.

Can we agree that batmobile is fucking god tier (amazing controls) while its Tankmobile which shits the bed?
Also god, the game is gorgeous, and even though joker shit was pure cancer Hamill's perfomance was great

Rocksteady should make a girls und panzer game if they want to do tanks so much

i wish they would have let you use the scarecrow gas in the postgame, even if there isn't really anything left to do. also: is the dlc any good?

Batgirl is allright
Everything else is literally 10 minutes long

>No Batgirl trophy added with DLC

I loved her design in this game. Was mad I couldn't admire it.

Also that they don't let you use other character skins and STILL don't have infinite New Game+.

Arkham Knight as a whole wasn't very good.
>kill off Joker
>brings him back in a fuck load of hallucinations
>that arkham knight reveal
>batman saves the day just by not being scared anymore

Everyone shits on the tank segments, but I kinda liked them. It's satisfying dodging like 8 shots coming you way at once from every direction and coming out of it without a single scratch.

Everyone likes them its just they get really old and the game is over reliant on them
