why is it so fat
>Tavor TS12
I just don't like the high bore access
It has three magazine tubes that can rotate usage so you have a very high magazine capacity. Since it is a bullpup so it can have a long barrel in compact over all length, the magazine is feed behind the trigger. So it has a guard above the trigger for the magazine rotations, and it has to be wide enough to allow for the width of two magazine tubes.
for whom is this targeted to?
it's a bullpup shotgun with 3 tube mags so it needs a lot of room
it's also ugly and looks like every other tavor so i dunno what op is talking about.
...
Defenseless jewish women apparently
israel's world famous "palestinian children hunt"
Because technology
>finally
user the P90 has been around for many years now
>finally
user the M16 has been around for many years now
looks uncomfortable as fuck and pretty sur an AA12 is better
Alien hunting, Alien militia, intergalactic 2A supporters...
you mean the AUG, P90 and G36
>pretty sur an AA12 is better
The AA12 is literal vaporware
no recoil full auto drum mag shotgun is all i need baby
user, the G11 has been around for many years now.
It's just simply unobtainium
you can't fire a gun that doesn't exist.
I was more playing on the fact that for the last like 60 years we keep calling new weapons "space age" or "sci-fi" since the M16 was considered a space age looking weapon when first introduced since it was polymer, alloy, and steel as opposed to the standard wood stocks and blue metal guns that were more common style up until that point.
AA12 exists retard
kraut space magic was too good for this world
show us where the AA12 touched you user
Not so much unobtanium as just not being worth the cost once the USSR fell and Europe wasn't in danger of being swarmed by soviet tanks. Did they not have a production run of like 1000 rifles?
Ammo is the biggest problem since surprise surprise, cases are actually really good at keeping the propellant from the elements. I hope polymer cases become a thing at least.
yeah, a whopping 20 of them stored in military warehouses rusting away
The whole gimmick about the gun, besides being detachable magazine feed autoload, is the gas system greatly reduces felt recoil. I've never shot one, I'd still like to shoot some hard cast heavy slug and some magnum turkey loads out of the thing first before saying it has no felt recoil whatsoever. A lot reviewers shoot weak #8 birdshot from their shotguns or reduced recoil home defense bucksho, so I would like to see it really stressed out by some hunters
>idf
fuck off zionist cunts the only state is a palestinian state
What is even the point of a shotgun in modern war? Surely a 5.56 rifle is so much more adaptable than a shotgun
shotguns can use different types of ammo and can breach doors
Well hello there, I came with my friends, F2000, FAMAS, Steyr Aug and Chiappa Rhino.
Is that the gun from Strange Journey?
Door breaching rounds, crowd control rounds, ships
I don't think the shotgun in OP is necessarily marketed to militaries, though.
Am I a soyboy for liking gun but actually feeling nervous when around real ones?
Agreed, but why would any soldier carry a fullsized shotgun when they could just use an underbarrel?
And that shotgun is semi-auto so it won't be able to cycle most ammo that law enforcement would use, right?
So is this just for homedefence/recreation?
>ctrl+f Pancor Jackhammer

What the hell, Sup Forums?
How come there are so many gun manufacturers and gun models out there but everyone owns the same few tried and true guns? How do they justify spending on R&D for things that presumably no one will buy? For what would you even use this? Surely not for hunting.
I don't get the weapons market at all.
If soyboy is what you millennial call being a pussy faggot, then yes. Especially if no one was shooting at you.
Yes. Go to a range, rent a gun, and man the fuck up.
Gun markets are the same as most every other market. Several products have mass appeal and are purchased by the majority of people, while a few smaller manufacturers create products that fill the niches.
We are preparing for WWIII, shh.
The handgun market is sustained entirely by the fact that Glocks are so disliked aesthetically, that other people will buy guns just like it, and act like its totally different as well.
The rifle and shotgun markets are pretty much cornered by only a few designs and a gorillion AR15 manufacturers
if you mean the tavor, yeah, it's being marketed as a home defense and sport shotgun. which is fucking retarded imagining anyone keeping it next to their bed or lugging it around hunting deer.
soldiers carry what they think they'll need or what they're most comfortable with. generally tight building clearing is better with shotguns than 556s
also the companies that keep pumping out designs for military trials, generate hype, fail the trails, then modify for overpriced civilian markets
Shotgun market outside of your traditional hunter/clay shooters is all about getting more capacity + faster reloading from a shotgun it seems. This is probably marketed for "home defense" or some range meme like 3 gun. I guess it could get limited law enforcement/military adoption.
Don't underestimate the size of the "cuz i want it" civilian market.
>ugly ass AK47 bad guys M16 good guys weaopons in EVERY FUCKING GAME
>tfw both rifles will still be floating around for a few thousand years
>tfw no cool or future weapons have come out since the 60s
>its all M16 variants and AK variants
where the fuck is pete?
Vidya surely doesn't showcase it accurately.
There's countless reports from Afghanistan and Iraq of fighters being shot up to 5 times with 5.56, yet still able to fight back; sure they're doomed at this point, but they still present a threat, and that's not enough. In places with frequent small scale skirmishes, such as most of Africa, 12 gauge is the most feared caliber, because you can survive being shot by any standard firearm/rifle caliber, but not a shotgun.
5.56 is more versatile, but at short ranges, don't fuck with a shotgun. It all depends on which country's military, and where they're deployed, but most have shotgun operators in their squads, usually the biggest guy.
>muh scifi guns
>gets shot in the chest by a moist nugget
>ugly ass AK47
u wot m8
No need to change perfection user
With the French phasing out the FAMAS and replacing it with generic ARs, it surely won't get better.
And right at the time France becomes an Islamic republic. We could have had bad guys with FAMAS, now we'll have bad guys with ARs.
its the uglyest fucking rifle ever, its ugly AND communist, mad gay too. only loved by africans, the poor and slavboos
>m16
>AK
>perfection
....
>Hey we need a sniper enemy for the villains
>I know how about dragunov
>Hey we need a sniper for the good guys
>hey i know how about that rifle i keep forgetting the name.
the PSG-1? an M16 with a scope?
When a new rifle comes out that outclasses the AR enough for it to be worth replacing the entire army's arsenal, it will be adopted. Also don't forget the AR has been in use for decades and thus the platform has been pretty optimised.
M40? M21?
>gorgeous stamped metal and wood furniture
>banana mags
>bakelite
>ugly
M14?
m14, m24, or m82/m107
what do you mean finally? the P90 was released in 1990.

not seeing the full sci-fi visuals dawg.
>the PSG-1?
i cant even think of any games that used one other than mgs
lol, i just saw this, what the fuck were they thinking.
The Israeli military needs excuses to spend all that US taxpayer money that gets thrown at it. So they just constantly push for all kinds of bullshit small arms development.
it fucking better be replaced soon, AR fags need to be BTFO soon
>slavshit with poor quality metal and wood produced in the trillions by faggy russians in some sweatshop tier soviet facotry

WHITE THAN YOU VLADMIR
step up your game lads. I swear I had a graph on my pc showing how it works and how it is used but I can't find it on my pc nor on the google either anymore. It's a chink laser rifle,. meant to blind enemy combatants

As an actual slav, i have a historical obligation to hate everything nemez.
I wish it was used more in not shitty games.
It's very used, but I still haven't found a good game with it.
more like
>we need a sniper for a high end assassin
>type "expensive sniper rifles" into google and pick something from the first page
it's only 15+1. still lighter than a spas12 at least.
