Because cases take like 8 hours, minimum
They can be fucking intense though
This is what gameplay looks like in the Sup Forums server during a break.
youtube.com
There are also serious cases
because Sup Forums doesn't play it, redditors who weren't around for the AA erpers do.
it's made by that guy who stalks manlettears
Sup Forums made a server like two years ago. It was recently found by normies because the video that this guy made exploded on the internet, but it's still Sup Forums culture.
The meta was reworked and they are 3 hours minimum, average 5. If you weren't around, there is also a new client that makes things easier, allows for custom screen size and gives in-game evidence
I'm satisfied just knowing about Turnabout Greg plus I don't really care for roleplaying. It takes a looooooonng time and everybody has their own superhero agenda in mind
Such a glorious case. For the record, I agree with you, and thus I suggest you try pre-writtens, they are a new trend that fixes the long playtimes and the superhero agenda.
How do I play
Because the community became insufferable
>roleplaying
>with Sup Forums
Not really my cup of tea.
Check OP at for links. The thread is surprisingly okay and non-cancerous right now, but don't get used to it, /aog/ is usually hell and you want to avoid it like the plague. Their server is fine though if you stay away from cancer areas.
>Sup Forums made a server like two years ago
no, redditors posting on Sup Forums made a server like two years ago.
Same but the attraction in this one is murder mystery solving so it can be nice I guess
From my experience it is closer to story writing unfortunately.
Pre-writtens are actual cases with logical solutions. Improvs are story writing autism. Gotta pick what fits you best.
This
In pre-writtens all witnesses are played by one player, so you don't have every single witness trying to be a special, noisy snowflake, since it's usually a chill guy who spent a long time thinking about a good murder mystery to solve
There are little differences between an actual mainline AA case and a pre-written from a gameplay point
Armstrong is painfully underrated
complete garbage community
>caring about the community
Just get in and do a case. Everyone is anonymous. If you dive deep into discord autism or general autism it's completely on you.
You can't avoid it that easily, but the experience of playing AA online as any position more than compensates for having to deal with mentally ill neets
So it's just another meme circlejerk like everytime Sup Forums and reddit meet.
>Anonymous people pissing around is a circlejerk
You are legitimately unintelligent.
No one cares about your abomination of a chat room and now fuck off. I will not even sage because the thread has no chance of taking off anyway.
I don't have the image that reads along the lines of "I walked into a thread about something I don't like, and now I'm upset. How can this be happening to me?", but if I did, I'd be posting it just for you, champ.
Not the person you are replying to but what the fuck is your problem my dude
I can't write for shit.
What the hell? How have I never heard of this before now?
Man, I remember this, it's been a while
I remember I even made a Birdman skin for the general
Didn't expect it to last that long. How's the quality nowadays?
is the autist loli Kay who won't shut up about unrelated shit still around?
>playing with Sup Forums
Oh no, thanks. Never ever.
>Burger grease
What did he mean by this?
I got back recently, and we've had some solid cases. Lots of newbies, but they're playing ball.
No
Much better since the new client and meta
...
Because it's community turned to shit a year ago, and has only somehow gotten worse.
because I have no idea what it is
some kinf of text RP?
How did they manage to get case times down from 8-12 hours to 3-5? Doesn't seem possible
How does a case even finish someone explain this fucking thing
It's a sort of animated chat room with the specific setting of an Ace Attorney courtroom that people use to create and play out AA-based court trials.
Fuck Ace Attorney Online, let's talk about AA-like games.
Anyone know of anything good? I've played Aviary Attorney, Regeria Hope, and some other one set in Britain, but all of them ranged from average to shit. Danganronpa has decent production values, but the mysteries aren't always the best.
...
I've already played that, and 999 (along with their sequels), but wasn't really what I was looking for. I meant the whole "investigate a murder and argue it out" stuff that only AA and Danganronpa seem to do.
