$164.99 for pieces of plastic that you have to assemble yourself to play with

>$164.99 for pieces of plastic that you have to assemble yourself to play with
>Sells like hotcakes and nobody bats an eye
>$59.99 for pieces of cardboard that you have to assemble yourself to play with
>HAHAHAHAHAHA LOOK HOW RETARDED THIS LOOKS!!!

Get a grip.

Fuck are you on about?

wrong pic OP

Unironically though, Lego pieces are actually really high quality.

This. Lego pieces literally last forever.

>implying people aren't always (justifiably) bitching about how insanely expensive LEGO sets are
>implying motherfucking cardboard won't be tossed away by parents/cleaning ladies compared to LEGO bricks

Considering Nintendo has experience with high quality products in the past, especially when it's targeted towards kids, I highly doubt it's going to be flimsy pieces of cardboard. Especially since it encourages you to move it around and throw your expensive tech in them.

Because Lego is fun and cardboard isn't. Even then, people on /lg/ are always bitching about how much Lego costs, but the cost makes sense because you can use the bricks to make other stuff.

try 1000$

Every (3)DS model besides maybe the 2DS(never owned one) was a flimsy piece of shit.

The Devkit for the switch comes with a stand made of flimsy cardboard. It's the official Nintendo stand for that kit.

>nobody bats an eye
People bitch about the insane cost of LEGO all the time.

>Considering Nintendo has experience with high quality products in the past, especially when it's targeted towards kids
Beyond games, Nintendo has done horrible in the toy department once they entered video games. They aren't even a factor and are a literal garbage in the toy world. They have to rely on bamco for help as well as boutique toy makers

This new Star Destroyer looks like shit. Anyway, patrician's buy the Lepin clone for 50% the price.

>high quality products
>fucking cardboard
Can you even see anything ? You must be pretty deep inside Nintendos ass

My flatmate bought that new Falcon for like 800 bucks. Waste of money in my opinion

Gunpla is kino though, lego is way overpriced for what it is.

Especially when you can get into Bandai's star wars stuff and have better looking models on your desk not looking like children's toys.

>spill water on legos
>drop legos down the stairs
>step on legos
>perfectly usable

>fold cardboard wrong
>whoops you didn't follow the instructions and now you have to buy a new one :(

Maybe take care of your shit. I still have my XL from launch and looks good as new.

I have a couple.
They're honestly really unimpressive without painting them. They don't lend themselves to the same style of model kitting as their Gundam models do because of the difference in design styles.

Why fuck do they new Star Destroyer look like complete feminist shit fucking nu-wars fuck disney.

>165 bucks for a SINGLE set of plastic
vs
>a system that is 300USD+tax, more for expanded memory, 70+tax for basic and 80+tax for the robot punching game
