I want to get locked in an airtight Funhouse and fix him with love. One night, he silently sneaks over to the Octagon. A gun extends from his clenched fist when he walks into my room. But his hand stops, centimeters away from my chest, and begins to shake violently. Something is wrong. One by one, his trembling fingers let go of the handle, and with a soft thud, the gun falls onto the carpet. He throws himself on me and buries his face right where the gun should have shot, clutching at the fabric of my clothes. His whole body shakes feverishly and I scoop his body into my arms and tell him that everything will be okay, just like usual. His silent sobbing turns to wailing that echoes out into the brightly lit corridors beyond the door.
He would finally be cured of hope. Because the only thing that doesn't fill him with hope is my pussy

Mikan was pretty bad. Its felt kinda like they tried to rehash Toko's shtick but without any of the personality to compliment it. Chiaki was just lazy waifubait.

The biggest issue I have with danganronpa is that most character development that don't really get the spotlight that much is that their backstory gets locked behind the free time which means you are not going to know everything about every character

I thought Mikan's backstory was decent, but I agree that Chiaki is 100% waifubait, her events was just a bunch of gaming memes

Chiaki just came off as kind of dumb, emotionally stunted, and disconnected from the events of the game to me. I can kind of excuse it given her nature, but it didn't make her a good waifu.

Yeah, I always feel like there is never enough free time. I guess they do that so you have more story exposition to get from the post-game stuff, but its still a weird system.
Yeah but it felt like they tried way too hard you get you to like her towards the end. Even the pairing with Kyoko in 1 didn't feel as hamfisted.
