The game already had issues with only 10 players in MGO3, the Fox Engine would instantly crash with 100 players.
It's just not an engine meant for multiplayer games.

Hell, MGO3 was garbage because stealth was never a valid option because literally the only way to hide was using that object that turned you invisible, otherwise you would get btfo.

Konami are fucking retards. They could have patched a $15 bonus that adds two player coop and I would pay in a heart beat. My cousin bought the game months ago and never started it once he realized we can't play together. The game would not be broken at all with two people and narrative wise just ignore the 2nd player thats all.
