I stream for my friends, sometimes whoever happens to join in because they saw me in whatever search engine, and I talk as if I'm talking to my friends. I think the most viewers I've ever had at one time is like 40-50, otherwise I might have like four or five people watching. Doesn't bother me. My friends and I all moved away from each other, so one of us might be like "hey faggot come watch me play this game" and we just laugh at it like we're all in the same room again.

I'm not a pro, I have no idea what the fuck I'm doing most of the time as far as the technical side goes, I've only recently started talking in the stream and not just through discord to just my friends, I'm unprofessional as hell, and if I'm just trying to fill space and not actually responding to someone I mumble like an insane autist.

I archive my streams on youtube for my unfortunate friend who still lives on dial up and likes watching this kind of shit, and hilariously I have a couple subs from Korea and Vietnam. I make a couple bucks a month, and by that I literally mean just one or two dollars. At my height I made like five.

It's just a fun side hobby I do every few weeks or months. You can tell I get better as I go, but I'm not interested enough to learn how to do it "for real"

You just have to look around here. We're always arguing about kids toys. It's hilarious. I embrace the absurdity of it all and try to have fun. Helps me escape how shit my life is. For some people though, it's how they pay the bills, so you can imagine why they take themselves so seriously when you consider that. I'm willing to bet a lot of YouTubers are depressed as fuck with their life but can't really make a living doing anything else at this point. Their resumes probably look like they served time.

I want to start a gaming channel calling it gamed because my friends call me ed and I like to game. Would it be ok to emulate games without showing that it is an emulation?
