Why are you not playing Suikoden 2, the best RPG of all time.
ITT: casual filters
That's not Abomination
Also was that a marshmallow on Luc's weapon or what
...
>rent the game when I was young
>start playing it
>what the fuck is this game
>literally the worst rpg I've ever played
>the literal example of a mediocre videogame
lol
Are you bad at video games or something
Abomination wasn't that hard
neither is bone dragon but I never use wind
no idea

Nanami best girl
I'm glad we all can agree.
Why is that?
I'd probably like it if I played it nowadays
but my backlog is too long
casual filter implies it's at the start of the game, that undead dragon is near the end
I disliked the combat animations of 5 honestly
good waifu taste
you should give it a higher priority user, I've only got perfect ending an hour ago, this game is quite the masterpiece
I frankly love the series as a whole.
5 was the weakest and dullest in my opinion. Agree about Nanami tho.
What was the plot of Tactics again?
All I remember is that the mute goat girl is your mom.
Casual filters only exist in games which casuals can't beat. Suikoden is perfect for casuals.
Because I'm still playing Suikoden 1.
Suikoden 2 is an amazing game and the first one wasn't bad either. My only issue with them is that they are so short even after going out of my way to recruit the 100-something stars. Also once you get certain broken characters the game turns into spamming the same attack again and again till the game's over.
Is Hauser the only black character in the Suikoden series?
I think one of the guys with Lilly in Suikoden 3 was black.
...
>the best RPG of all time.
not possible, all jrpgs are bad
I've been meaning to. Do I have to play the first one? Someone said to me that you need a complete save from the first game in order to get the true ending on 2

Suikoden 2 is way too easy to have a casual filter in it at all.
Also like someone else said, casual filters are usually somewhere near the beginning.
The second game has entire mandatory dungeons that just exist as fanservice for people who played the first game, plus the first game isn't even that long. Might as well.
and you can easily cheese suikoden by having kai or whatever his name is in your party and just spam the master-student unite attack
suikoden 1 had a black watermelon farmer named Blackman i shit you not. Best game ever
>casual filters are usually somewhere near the beginning.
Oh, so beating Rowd in Kyaro Town.
Which ones out of the PS2 ones is the most worth playing?
Started playing Suikoden 3 but I dropped it since I really hated how it played.
V, I guess.
Tactics is also good imo, but since it's directly connected to the awful IV, it's not worth the effort.
3 is actually relevant to the main story
4 and 5 are spinoffs
They based 5's plot around Georg's backstory from 2.
5, 4, and Tactics.
Kyril's dad was after Rune Cannons because they appeared the same time Yohn (the satyr) did. Yohn and the Evil Eye (main source of power for Rune Cannons) are from another world (same as Yuber's same say) and the Evil Eye has a nasty side effect of turning humans into Lovecraftian fishmonsters.
After Walter is turned and killed, Kyril grows up to pursue the Rune Cannons to destroy them in his stead.
Pretty dark plot, despite how cute it looks. And the gameplay is addictive as fuck. Also helps to complete Suikoden IV's story and fleshes out the cast more.
Also, Kyril a cute. I want to fuck his boipussy.
...
Can we all agree that 3 is the worst in the series? Everything about it was shit and ruined by the fact it was one of those games that was so proud to be rendered fully in 3d. what a shit game and ruined the series
>This is harder than the other Mario & Luigis, but not THAT har--
Either this guy or the Shadow in DMC1. I figured it'd be phantom, but I hear people legitimately quitting after the Shadow fight. Phase 1 and Phase 2 casual filters I guess.
I liked its story, but man did it shit the bed when it came to gameplay. It makes wanting to go back to it difficult.
