The patch is legitimately pretty great, shitters are wiping in lowbie dungeons and struggling to quest again.

Should remove tusks and give every race a deep culture and a history of being KANGZ AND SHIET so you don't have to feel insecure about your character having a hunch.

As if anyone has quested in half a decade, you know better user. Sure we quested on our mains and first few alts back in 2004-2009 but for the past 8 years spamming dungeons has been THE way to level and all anyone does. I tried questing a few months ago and it was horrible, I one shot every mob without heirlooms and still ended up level 24 by the time I finished Silverpine, too high to even bother swinging by Hillsbrad so I just skipped straight to Arathi. Questing has been basically impossible unless you're braindead for ages.

Now you can actually quest without outleveling every zone on the continent. Although it's still not often enough, you sometimes have to think about what you're doing and use more than 4 abilities to kill mobs. For the first time in ages people are watching what they pull in dungeons, using CC, and actually stopping to replenish mana.

The only way I can see anyone being upset about these changes is if they're a shitter or they only play this game for the 1% of content that is endgame, and I don't know which is a more pitiable existence. Luckily most people in my guild enjoy low level content just as much as high level so there's always people to group and level alts with, some of us even enjoy it more than the abysmal world quest, mythic+, and raid grinds.

Allied races have their own racials and questlines in case you aren't aware. They're not just an extra customisation option.

It's great and I see a lot of people in the actual world questing now who also love it. I hope Blizzard doesn't fuck up by listening to the forum outrage like they did in Cataclysm but it's too soon to tell, I'd say wait a month at least and see if they cave to the whining.

Levelling is extremely comfy right now, a rare spawn spawned where I was questing and someone nearby actually told me about it and wanted to kill it together. It's fucking nice.

What's less nice is that dungeons are currently bugged - they flipped health values of heroic and normal around (where applicable) and some bosses got weird amounts of health. But that's all likely to get fixed.

You can't get the heritage armor if you race change to an Allied Race. It can only be gotten if you level it from scratch.

1- 60 leveling is still the best thing WoW has to offer. It's all downhill from there.

I'd argue MoP and WoD levelling is pretty good, especially now you can just pick your favourite zones and stick with them

Wrathn doesn't have good questing until a few zones in. It's not as badly aged as TBC but fucking hell Tundra and Fjord are generally awful

Because a lot of the people that complain are people that played WoW since high school and now that they have jobs and real life stuff to do they feel as though they're entitled to access the same content as everyone else even though they can't dedicate the time to play hardcore.

It's why you see shit on the forums like "nerf this because I work all day and have to come home to my kids and I can't do all that and play WoW at the same time if WoW is too hard". Catering to these fags has made the gameplay do down the shitter and I'm personally glad that people are butthurt that the content takes more than two braincells to complete.

There is a WORLD of difference between Heroic and Mythic raiding. Even some PUG groups have beat the raid on Heroic.
