FF Tactics

Meh, they cancelled Kai too.

But then hey, they realized how much money America would give them for more, and voila! Kai Buu Saga.

Soul Sacrifice
Half-Life
Virtua Fighter

>super
>good

>Jiren wins
>U7 erased
>Series over

But on topic, FF tactics games were all relatively high quality and then they just stopped being made.

didnt the creators themselves say the ending of Z is still canon? That means Goku and friends will survive. Unless they lied or decide to change it

in theory, thanks to Trunks, pretty much everything is canon, even fucking AF now.

Rayman

thats headcannon

this is something the creators actually said

Jiren doesn't want universes to be destroyed, so he'd obviously use his wish to bring them all back. Probably merged together into one big Super Universe to avoid a repeat of this bullshit

cute doggo

freedom fighters

Hey retards. They're taking hiatus to focus on the movie. Read the articles instead of the headlines.

Advance Wars

>half life

STOP REMINDING ME

>it's real

Dead Space

Well i guess low income was a reason but they should have finished the story at least

Superfags blown the fuck out

They did.

Game over. Mankind loses. The moons wipe out another species, all life is extinguished, and the universe is once again an empty void. Dead space, as it were.

Proof?

Prince of Persia. I feel like I was the only one that played the most recent one. And it was fine, but not bad, and it didn't deserve to be the tombstone for the series.

SUPERFAGS BTFO
Sadly knowing this is the final arc it has no chance to redeem itself and the series goes down as the worst one in DB history. I really hope it gets the GT treatment. I like Beerus, Whis, Black, and Zamasu but literally everything else about this show is absolute trash that ruined the direction of the series.

So are they gonna fire all the hack animators and get a team to make something that doesn't look like total garbage?

That's why it's ending. It was never the fault of the animators, just the infamously bad production behind the scenes. The sequel to Super is probably going to premiere next year, this time with proper production

>series is at an all time high money wise
>game coming out with super characters in it
>new generation of fans

>ending it after only three new arcs

>Yfw Gohan gets UI

they are literally taking a break.
this shit has happened before. some of cast and crew is moving onto a project

good chances they'll be back next year.
Super is making them too much money

It'll be back. They make way too much money selling DB shit to America to ever let it stay dead.

At this point in the story no one has no reason not to wish the other universes back once the tournament is over. The narrative tension of the entire arc is basically dead unless they wanna pull out something fucking crazy like Frieza turning on everyone in a way that would damn the entirety of existence.

Fuck that. Time for a redo. The concepts that BoG brought really opened up the possibilities but it was executed so so poorly, and it didn't help that the character designs were so lame which is like the one thing DB is always top tier at.

Taking a break it looks like. Hopefully to come up with some story ideas.

ever since the start of the ToP i thought this was going to happen, even if universe 7 loses, it wouldnt make sense for universe 11 not to revive everyone, since they're all representing justice anyway.

Ouendan

That made me so fucking anxious

Wait, its ending? As in, suddenly stopping in the middle of everything or will they at least close out the ToP first?

Manga is lagging way behind (and is better in almost every single way to the anime anyhow) so it's either put it on hiatus and supplement with a movie or two in the meantime or jam even more filler into Super which people hated.

Also animation and art style quality is all over the fucking place as is writing so it gives them a chance to reign things in and maybe make it less shit when/ if it comes back.

I'm just mad that we finally get some Freeza action this week and there's only 7 episodes left which is barely enough time to really do anything with and it means the end of the ToP is sure to be even more dull than you'd expect since they can't throw out any twists or anything to set up for a new arc. You can't have U7 lose and then have Jaren make some grand wish that brings all the universes together, you can't interrupt the tournament with a war against the GoDs and Angels, you can't have Freeza get a wish and end up ruling over everything, etc. Shit's as abrupt as Bleaches cancellation.

The current arc is ending, then hiatus.

It's done superfags. It's a terrible show and it's time you accept it. We'll know for sure on the last episode because if it's done they will give it a send off.

>Manga is lagging way behind (and is better in almost every single way to the anime anyhow) so it's either put it on hiatus and supplement with a movie or two in the meantime or jam even more filler into Super which people hated.
The manga is only behind in terms of release; it's been ahead in production since at least the beginning of the ToP arc since they were using manga panels for the announcement trailer despite the released manga still being mid-Future Trunks arc because there were no anime shots to use.

131 is the last episode. All we know is that the series isn't over and that they aren't planning a sequel to super, but they refuse to say anything else. Best anyone can guess is hiatus with a few movies and new arc next year or so. Frankly anything else would be retarded given how popular super has been getting.

Does this mean no more Champa?

Man it's almost like they shouldn't have wasted like 7 episodes worth of time on Kale and Caulifla hiding behind rocks.

>All we know is that the series isn't over
As in the Dragon Ball franchise, not Super.

Why'd you post a blank image user.

He got HAKAI'd but he'll be back

There's already no more champa, stupid

>they can't throw out any twists or anything to set up for a new arc

Unless they're setting up for the story to continue in the new movie.

Yes, but given how the only thing they're repeatedly saying is that they're not planning on releasing a new, non-super series we can assume that they mean super itself isn't over. Either that or they've just killed their biggest cash cow for no reason.

He...he was supposed to come back for a Planet Sarada arc....

>their biggest cash cow
It's their only series right now, that's not saying much. I only heard of it performing welling in the Black arc, how has it been doing this arc?

It's probably the most popular anime worldwide and it's the biggest franchise per revenue in Japan.

Super sucks anyway. Good riddance to bad garbage. Hopefully the games will go back to pretending it never existed in short time.

AHHHHHHHHH

I NEED MORE CHAMPA

So this guarantees we'll just get a boring "Goku wins lol" ending with nothing else added to it and then end? No major plot for Frieza attempting to usurp the gods, no EL GRANDE PADRE shenanigans, no U7 losing?

Nigga please, show me the proofs. Super is a very mixed reception in the West.

Likely scenario at the end of the tournament:
>Gohan jobs this week taking out bunnyman, 17 Manages to KO Toppo when he reaches GoD status in an episode or two with help from Freeza
>Freeza tries something dastardly and Jaren knocks him out easy because He is pure evil
>Vegetableman and Grandma scream at Jaren a little more as nothing works
>With only a 2v1 fight left to go Beerus demands they finally fuse
>An episode or two of that
>They unfuse and all looks lost, but Vegetableman remembers he is a family man and makes the self sacrifice play leaving Goku as the winner
>Goku says how that was super fun, but asks the Xenos wouldn't it be more fun if they could do it again
>Wishes the old deleted universes into existence or merged with his own
>Says how he's looking forward to a whole bunch of exciting fights real soon as the camera pans up on the now restored universes
>Roll credits as Freeza rages from the bench

Paragon

As much as I would love for Soul Sacrifice to come back, I don't think it will. At least it had a satisfying conclusion

>yfw the series ends with Goku wishing that he never met Beerus

It's canon, Black and Zamasu will forever be alongside the main trio of Z villains now

Good. Just killing super would be like EA killing off it's sports game division. They'd probably survive, but they'd be completely fucking retarded for having done it.

The only way this makes sense is if they're doing a hiatus to make sure the next arc is a bit higher quality.

Speaking of American dub, Toonami has just reached the Future Trunks arc

There was a big reason.
The guy who wrote the series left halfway through the development of the third game, which is why all Suikoden games afterwards were prequels or side stories because they didn't know how to move forward with the overarching plots.

>people think one of the post profitable anime in Japan right now is just ending
It's a hiatus you retards.

THQ wrestling games
Geist (wasn’t a series but had potential)
Sarge’s Heroes
Gauntlet
Capcom Zelda
Madworld (potential)

Me too.
I can't even rely on fanart because hardly anyone draws him.

Who cares? The manga is much better anyways. If only it wasn't monthly. Last chapter pretty much fixed almost everything wrong with the recruitment arc.

>We will never get to see Gohan Blanco vs El Grande Padre

>DBZ Super ending
>SM Crystal is in apparently on indefinite hiatus

What the fuck is Toei doing?

The a key animator talked about it was like it was over.
>“I just found out yesterday that episode 126 would be my last job as an animation supervisor.”

All indications point to Super ending.

Wario Land

I think the hiatus is because they're gonna fire everybody and hunt down better talent.

Either that or they really are just insanely retarded.

Hopefully it comes back with a better timeslot

They just very recently started animating it like prime dragon ball, the characters finally looked like the way I always remembered them. I don't think the talent is the problem, obviously the effort which most likely means money, is.

I mean whatever the reason is it's stupid. I'm just trying to think of the least stupid possible reason for this choice.

That's just one animator user. His episodes look the best in the series it's fucking nuts

They're all busy churning out more Pretty Cure.

It sucks but oh well

Thought that he only animated the kefla ui episodes and went back to animate another series though

This is the most Goku shit I’ve ever read
Wario Land 4 GOAT GBA game

He did the episode when Kafla first fused and just recently he did Vegeta Vs. Jiren. Rumor has it that he's gonna pop up again for the final battle

He didn't work on any Kefla episodes, except the one where she appears at the end. He worked on 114 which was Goku vs Kale and Caulifla and 122 which was Vegeta vs Jiren. Honestly if they made a series with him as the lead key animator and competent writers Super, or whatever they replace it with, would be great.

...

Well damn, that's discouraging. He's the only one who can draw them the right way. Before then, even Super at its best the characters still looked off.

>Honestly if they made a series with him as the lead key animator and competent writers Super, or whatever they replace it with, would be great.
Yes. Good designs is one of the most important things about dragon ball. I thought the writing in Battle of Gods was really good and then it all went way downhill, picked up again in the Black arc, but then ended mediocre, and then dropped off again. Dragon Ball seriously deserves a high quality anime but still faithful.

second part meant for

>GT gets a conclusion
>Super wont

GT>Super

Darkstalkers

A lot of it has to do with Toriyama making a really vague outline of what he wants to happen, and then not really supervising anything, which leads to different writers interpreting power levels, characters, and outcomes differently. For example in the U6 vs U7 arc, he said he wanted Vegeta to lose to Hit, and for Goku to match him. Toei did this by making Vegeta lose in Blue and giving Goku kaioken. Toyo did it by giving Blue a severe stamina drain that Vegeta wasted on the fight before. In the current arc, there's been so many inconsistencies that it's too much to count. Characters literally change personalities and power levels every episode to match what the current writer wants to have happen, and then another writers retcons it.

I hope not. The ending of Z was fucking garbage. Lame ass time skip ten years into the future. Goten looks like shit and gets beat by Pan in the tourny. Kid Buu gets reincarnated when we already have Fat Buu as the salvaged bad guy. Goku gives the middle finger to all the characters in the series to focus on a new character that nobody cares about. Not to mention that it wont even make sense anymore. Why would Goku even care about training Uub when Hit, Jiren, Beerus, and SSB Vegeta exist? Wasnt his main reason for training Uub to his full potential so he could get a really good fight from him? Hes met multiple fighters in Z that would BTFO Uub without breaking a sweat.

He wants Earth to be protected by an Earthling and Krillen is too shit for the job.

More like too busy pounding 18.

Kid buu would beat Hit, Jiren and SSB Vegeta since his power is unlimited.

Idk if Uub has that trait but I think so

Can you blame him?

Can anyone blame him?

>belly grab
>armpit shot
Gonna need a source on this.
