it's on the back burner you can expect about 10-15k for the bigger events. It's a far cry from the olden times but there is still people watching. I'm personally mostly watching it for the tastosis banter at this point, they leave and i do. BW is much better as far as actual viewing experience.

I love SC2 but I wish NuBlizz would stop being retarded. Close enough to render SC1 source code irrelevant (in terms of preserving the game, it of course has curiosity value). The mechanics have already been replicated exactly, there is nothing new to be learned from the source.

It's in the same boat as OW, which means not really but sheer popularity carries it through. There's something to be said about most of the viewers actually having played the game lowering the bar for coherent specating.

Thing is though, WoW has only lasted this long because of the richness of the lore. Their attempts at inventing new content have been terrible, and they've already burned starcraft lore with SC2.

I don't think there are enough people left to care to make world of starcraft work. I mean they're finally giving us classic servers because they know promising the good ol' days is one of the few gimmicks they have to get people to come back. They know that we know that they can't get anything new right, except by accident like OW, which they clearly don't understand.
