I won't even say it's just for kids.
It's a DIY kit with a 60 dollar game. Nintendo themselves said they wanted to bring a DIY experience. You could do the same shit with used cardboard and a used copy of the game. They are COUNTING on you to do the same shit without buying their Labo™ branded cardboard; that's good publicity. That way they could say the Switch is for everyone and you can do anything with it.
The "80 dollar cardboard" argument is plain retarded

hahahaha
You also would be able to buy just the game without any cardboard
But just look at what the kits contain; IR tape, cardboard, fishing wire, canvas drawtabs to secure the hand/footholds. Where is a person meant to be able to secure such rare and expensive materials?
If you think this post is serious you've got autism bro.
How much does that cost?
you can't
>a 60 dollar game.
they look like free apps from the iphone store
Why would nintendo allow that?
And the game has instructions on how to bend the cardboard pieces, what's the point of getting only the game?
>tfw buying this shit without the cardboard is probably $60
>tfw $60 for a shitty minigame
What did they mean by this?
>Why would nintendo allow that?
Time will tell if they actually do.
>what's the point of getting only the game?
If (IF) they release the templates they could put scoring marks on the card to show where to use a box cutter to mark the card to allow bends shown on the on-screen instructions.
I don't really see this scenario coming to be.
