Man do I love the GameCube. Forever my favorite Nintendo console.
The Wii version casualized the Prime games.
Wand Wanker
charlie's angels
pn03
enter the matrix
Better controls != casualized
Oops, forgot the Viewtiful Joe games and Killer7. I will stack the GC's exclusives up against what the PS2 has to offer any day. It has an amazing library.
You listed Star Fox Adventures twice.
Not talking about the controls senpai
My bad.
Gotcha Force and Tube Slider.
chibi robo
Tak and the power of Juju
Twilight Princess
Megaman X Command Mission
The difference is SONY are huge jews and getting PS2 games on modern SONY systems is a pain while most of the GC games were made remastered/ported to other Nintendo consoles
Missing Pokemon Colosseum and Gale of Darkness
What else did they change other than the controls?
I have 54 games for the Gamecube. Every year, I consider selling it all, but then I think of the good times I could have with my kids. It's a struggle.
Did they? I feel like there's a whole lot of GameCube essentials that aren't available any other way than buying an old copy. Eternal Darkness being one of the most glaring ones.
Fire Emblem path of radiance
Other than Dolphin obviously.
I think in two they made boost guardian easier.
...
Like 1/3 of your list was made available for other consoles later
Also forgot Skies of Arcadia Legends
Well, they nerfed the Boost Ball Guardian, making it so he isn't even a challenge anymore. And if I recall, they made the base difficulty of the the Prime Trilogy even easier than the Gamecube version. Unless I'm remembering wrong and they give you the option to choose Prime's version of normal from the start.
>wind waker
>twilight princess
>metroid
Thats not most friendo
See
Fuck yes, man. Not enough people have played this gem
Skies of Arcadia Legends
Remaster when?
youtube.com
Never, hope you like Yakuza and Sonic
It is absolutely insane to me that this hasn't gotten an HD remaster. I hope and pray they didn't lose the source code or something.
>It is absolutely insane to me that this hasn't gotten an HD remaster
Why? SEGA-Sammy make bad decisions all the time. The lack of a Shenmue 1 & 2 HD remaster should have told you this.
True but Vyse and Aika showed up in Valkyria Chronicles which gave me hope.
Lotta gems thar, user
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Why was Rayman 3 so shit compared to Rayman 2?
>It is absolutely insane to me that this hasn't gotten an HD remaster.
You'd think they would get the hint when used copies of the game are still so expensive.
>Chamber Of Secrets

Is Aika the undisputed greatest waifu in gaming history?
She's not even the best on the GC.
The Super Monkey Ball games were great.
You can have her. I'll take the cute red-head any day.
She'd be the best if she had her hair down all the time. I wonder if there's a dolphin hack for that.
Either way is fine by me. The pointy pigtails are cute as fuck too.
HAVE A ROTTEN DAY
Also DoubleDash, Sunshine and Luigi‘s Mansion. Still playing these every once in a while.
Sunshine
wind waker
Mario party 4-6
Bomberman Generations/Jetters (underrated)
TTYD
Double Dash
Wario World
Gale of Darkness
That game that lets you play gba games if you can call that a game
THIS
just get adventurers and assault.
imo assault just for that fucking AWESOME multiplayer
As a kid I always created cool looking monsters comparable to the stock card monsters, but I recently popped this in to the old GameCube and discovered my artistic talent had completely dried up. Growing old sucks.
I traded in a bunch of my gamecube shit and I regret it immensely, and plan on buying most of the stuff back, Currently I have
>Metroid Prime
>Zelda: Collectors Edition
>Naruto Clash of Ninja
>Naruto Clash of Ninja 2
>Mario Golf Toadstool Tour
That;s basically everything
Before I traded in a bunch of shit to get Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and 2.5 I had
>Super Smash Bros Melee
>Mario Kart Double Dash
>Windwaker
>Pokemon Colosseum
>Super Mario Sunshine
Plan on rebuying all of those
Boi just hack a wii
Or a Wii U for maximum value.
WWE Day of Reckoning 2.
I would but I'm a $0 poorfag brainlet. If I traded in what I had now I wouldn't have enough to get one of those and memory expansion. I looked up one of the guides for hacking them and it looks to complex
Fucking this- also:
Phantasy star 1, 2, and 3
And 'Gladiator'
They changed normal difficulty to be easier than the normal difficulty in the GC version.
They added a new Veteran Difficulty that retains the difficulty of the of the original GC games.
The boost ball guardian is still nerfed though. Everything else remains the same.
I'm no good with that stuff either but it's not too hard to find ones that are already softmodded and ready to go on ebay if you manage to scrape some money together sometime.
The Wiki has became shit long ago or was it fixed?
I swear all kinds of trash got in.
Godzilla: Destroy all Monsters Melee.
Oh shit, really? What range would it be in to get a Wii that's modded with NES to Wii and a bunch of Gameboy to GBA stuff? If it's not to expensive I might just sell Zelda: Collectors edition and my AGS 101 SP for one.
>trading in games that have retained their value for over a decade for a mass produced HD remaster of ultra common PS2 games that likely dropped from full price to $20 in a few months.
You’re either really fucking dumb, impatient, or both
>google it
>this is part of the results
It's worth buying the cube just to play this game imo.
The one I have was a birthday gift from my brother in-law but I think he said he paid around $60 for it. Weirdly it won't play physical Wii discs but GameCube games work just fine.
I already own 1 and 2 for PS2. I just about shit my pants when I heard that they were fixing the issues from the PS3 version and it'd be 1080p60. Dunno if you follow Kingdom Hearts that much but it had all of the Final Mix versions of 1, 2, and BBS. Which means that there was a fuck load of new content which were basically directors cuts. For 1.5+2.5 I traded in Wind Waker, Colosseum, and a bunch of GBA games. Not all of the games I listed were towards that
delet this now
>RE4 and RE0
>but no REmake
There are some weights to that theory like how Nintendo keeps renewing the licence for the franchise and how we still dont fucking know what Retro's new game is
This baby right here
Is the tablet hardware the Switch is running on powerful enough to run Dolphin at acceptable speeds? If so, I see no reason not to put GameCube games on the virtual console.
You could have gotten $50 for Wind Waker easily. That alone would have covered the cost of the game. I still wouldn’t have done that anyway because if you had simply waited 3 months you could have bought 1.5 + 2.5 for like $20 lmao. You played yourself user.
Daily reminder there was never anything wrong with the gamecube version's controls.
ok user
The Shield 2 was being sold in China with Wii games preloaded on it. They ran perfectly fine. The WiiU also ran Wii games via emulation and the Switch outspecs it by a fair amount.
I see no reason why the Switch wouldn’t be able to handle GC emulation.
Luigi's Mansion
Wind Waker
Metroid Prime 1 and 2
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
Twilight Princess if you can't get a hold of the HD version
Sonic Adventure 2
Super Mario Sunshine
Just saying, one of the reasons I disliked Prime 3 was the motion controls. Not fun at all for me. I didn't even finish it. If the 1 and 2 wii ports are like that I'll pass.
>one of the reasons I disliked Prime 3 was the motion controls
Wind waker, double dash, Mario sunshine. That's it.
I just don't understand Switchfags. Is it because of all the WiiU games that have been re-released on Switch? Is it because it gets some multiplat games and can somewhat run them?
Don't get me wrong, I'm not twelve or a retard and own several platforms but I just understand this sudden portbegging.
>wah this game was made for 3DS
>wah this game released on Vita but not Switch
>wah this game isn't released on Switch
>this game would be perfect on Switch
I don't get it.
Isn't it usual to renew licences?
Retro's new game will be the very least decent, so I'm content with waiting. I fucking hate teasers and speculations.
It's a bit sloppy in overall execution, but I would still recommend Geist.
I'm not saying I didn't fuck up because I definitely did. It was definitely all impulse I couldn't control. My Wind Waker case was pretty damaged though. The only reason I traded them in is because I didn't wanna use Craigslist or amazon or any of that shit. In my city there's only one place that does game trade-ins for cash. Of course they have ridiculous rates so I had to give up a lot more then I was willing. It was really just a limited time thing though. I had a PS4 at my disposal for limited time and I knew I'd never get the chance to play it again for a super long time. I regret it, but even though I couldn't finish all the games I still had a good 350 hours of entertainment from it though
The bongos are a dime a dozen shit I see them at good will all the time
This is true
I think visor/weapon switching was better/faster on GC too.
I fail to see what's wrong with the Wii controls. Maybe because the crosshair isn't locked when using lock-on but you can switch that in the options
It is usual to renew licences but Nintendo been renewing it for years nothing (shit I think they do it just so they can keep all the fucking nintendo references in smash bros that arnt playable characters)but comes out of it
And fuck there was no Game cube on the Wii u virtual console unless they finally add it to the switch then yea it would make sense
Yes. The gamecube controls were just fine and didn't need to be changed at all. One of the reasons they ported 1 and 2 to the wii was because a lot of casuals complained about them.
The Wii controls make you aim the gun. This was never necessary. I never liked the wii mote that much anyway. Too gimmicky. I prefer a regular controller.
>The Wii controls make you aim the gun.
Someone post the gdq trannies bashing prime 3.
YOU GUYS ARE ALLRIGHT
