MEMORIES BROKEN
THE TRUTH GOES UNSPOKEN

I'VE EVEN FORGOTTEN MY NAAAAME

You enter a suite of residential modules. A scream rings out from within one of the apartments. You rush in to find a severely beaten woman cowering in the corner. A man is standing over her, ready to strike another blow against his helpless victim.
Her eyes meet yours from where you stand in the doorway, "please help me!"

Lightsaber in hand, blaster holstered on your belt and mindful of Kreia's presence at your side, you must carefully consider your options. How do you proceed?

*kills everyone in the jedi enclave*

I give the woman a few credits and wait for the street muggers to beat both of them to death.

Introduce myself as full-fledged Knight of the Jedi Order to the attacker and demand his immediate cooperation in solving this peculiar situation.

Did Kreia love Jedi Jesus romantically?

>Star Wars is never going to be good again
>Star Wars video games are never going to be good again
>The EU will never be canon again

This is the wrong timeline.

>Morrigan disapproves

Compromise and kill myself.

And so was this game

You have the high ground

>Kreia throws a shitfit whenever you help someone else
>Some bullshit about 'destroying their ability to grow stronger by solving their own problems'
>Get cornered by the 3 council members
>Kreia butts in and does some ooga-booga lightning to save the main character
Kreia is such a fucking hypocritical cunt. I never listened to her when I played the game. She's like one of those people who talks in riddles just to make it sound like she's all deep and wise, but in reality, she is not.

Kreia doesn't actually get mad that you're helping others, she's just trying to get you to examine why you're doing it. Playing Devil's Advocate, essentially.
Also, I don't think she ever denied she was a hypocrite.

You are not a clever person.

>Ooga Booga lightning

She killed them by cutting their connection to the force. And she wasn't going to let them kill you, she needed you for her plans

But that makes no sense. How would the council be able to cut your connection to the force and leave you alive, if such an action kills a force-sensitive?

You answered your own question.

I did not. He claimed that Kreia killed them by cutting their force connection. The council wanted to do that to the main character, but also wanted to leave them alive because Jedi don't kill prisoners. One does not equal another. If the act of cutting off the force does not kill a person, then how did they die when Kreia did it?

Reality: Kreia force lightning'd them to death.

But you already survived once being cut off from the force, didn't you?

The Exile was the one who severed themself from the force, not the council.

>help her

Kreia. "Why would you do such a thing? Now she will never learn to fend for herself. Be mindful of that before you interfere in situations that are not your own."

>don't help her

>don't help her

Kreia: "To not act in the face of such cruelty could have more severe repercussions than you know."

Cutting someone of from the force is a technique the jedi council has used before. It leaves the person alive.

What Kreia does, is use the same force technique that Darth Nihilus and the Exile uses, which originates from being a wound in the force. It's completely different.

Ah the game that foresaw it all

Kreia called it a decade before Disney took the franchise down the drain

Kotor 2 was hands-down what the sequels should have been

You have Lost influence with Kreia

I'm talking about the scene where the council turns on you.

Except that Kreia isn't a wound in the force, so she could not do that.

>lightning
>is clearly doing the force drain animation

Why were the Jedi in this game all useless faggots?

i feel like the jedi and the sith in this game were both representing the negative extremes of both sides, if that makes sense.

>in this game

Because they were Jedi, duh.

Kotor 2 (and some parts of the extended universe) is a desperate attempt to inject more depth and nuance in a universe that has none and thus don't gel with the rest of the canon (and clearly the new movies) and why they were ejected from canon.

refer to Because she did just that, they literally just died from the shock of it suddenly dissapearing. Also Jedi council is bunch of hypocrites. Vrook hates you because he refuses to admit he might be wrong. Zez-Kai Ell admits that he was wrong to judge you this way but then moment of reflection is gone as soon as he gets to enclave and deems you a threat to be disposed of. Kavar is your supposed friend but in the end he also choses not to trust you but Order teachings that killed 99% of the Jedi.

In the end all of them are hypocrites: they are all living in fear that their ideals might not be perfect and they are willing to go that far to not accept the reality.

Didn't the game say that they are still alive if you examine them but only an empty shell?

She has an extremely strong force bond with you. Remember, she says something like "Let me show you - who have forever seen the galaxy through the force - see the galaxy through the eyes of the exile".

When you use a force ability on yourself it affects her, and vice versa. It was also her who taught Nihilus to use his abilities. She knows everything about it.

Wait for him to kill her then kill him.

If it does then I never noticed them.

Knowing about it is not enough to utilize something that REQUIRES being a wound. You're KO'd at this point, its not like she could work the force through you, not to mention that all the animations come from her.

The force bond affects you through entire fucking solar systems of distance. Sure she can use it while you are KO.

Apathy is death

Throw woman my lightsaber.

persuade the attacker to give you money for not attacking then kill him after he pays you. persuade the woman to reward you then kill her.

loot both of their remains for adrenal stims and frag grenades.

Make the man weaker by helping him beat the woman so that in the future he will not be strong enough to beat the woman alone.

well, so is suicide

>no Kreia romance
What was Obsidian thinking?

>I will bring his corpse to her, cast it at her feet. It will be as if killing her children. I will kill all she protects, all she shields, until her hands are drenched in blood.
What did he mean by this

Probably the only one Kreia would unironically like

you've forced her to stand up and fight, even if you provided the means

Cut off her limbs, being forced to beg for prosthetics after being beaten will remove the restrictions of shame and pain making her even more powerful.
Darth Grandma did I do good?

Unzip and start masturbating

He saw a cat dropping a dead rat in front of its owner and decided to do the same.

kavarr was pretty based and actually used his skills to make a difference in the world
zez kai elle had pretty much checked out of the jedi order by this point
vrook was vrook

>[force persuade]make man rape the woman instead

How did I do?

youtube.com/watch?v=-BBmymRIGk8

and then when you bring them all together again they become extreme faggots again and don't bother learning their lesson for at least the second time

I honestly was disappointed that Kavarr became a faggot at the end.
He could have been a good friend.

>and thus don't gel with the rest of the canon (and clearly the new movies) and why they were ejected from canon.
>Luke, in the new movies: The Jedi order were a bunch of failures and hypocrites and their teachings are inherently flawed
The Luke plotline of TLJ is basically Luke going "Kreia was right" for an hour.

You fucking know for a fact that after the reception (and loss in sales more importantly for Disney) the movie got we are going to get the same shit for the next 20 movies, the epic rebellion ran by the same relics for the past 30 years with the good guy Jedi fighting the evil poopoo Empire with the lighting channeling Sith.

you picked mulletman so you did good. are you planning on doing any min/maxed videos for kotor 2?

also is there any point in taking improved energy resistance in kotor 1?

Kreia would have called nu-Luke a bitch. Apathy is death.

I just want to see a jedi fall to the darkside and kill the sith with his/her new powers.

>The Jedi order were a bunch of failures and hypocrites and their teachings are inherently flawed
He was just repeating what the prequels said.

I've clearly made several wrong steps, starting when I added Kreia to the fucking party

At least the game gives you a handful of opportunities to rub it in her face.

It doesn't kill every force sensitive, it kills the jedi because they literally can't live or imagine life without the force.

>we've reached a point where people can't understand a AAA Star Wars game

Only superficially. They both believe that the legacy of the Jedi Order is failure, but unlike Luke Kreia wants to reform it rather than let it die.

He just wants mommy kreia to notice him

>Darth Nihilus is built up to be this big baddie
>kill him easily

wasn't impressed Tbh

She used force drain not force sever, the jedi council straight up says severing the connection harm or put you in pain.

I'll probably do a different build in KOTOR first and then we'll see about KOTOR II.

Improved Energy Resistance really helps reduce or completely negate Heat and Cold damage from Grenades, Mines, Projectors etc. (provided your Reflex save is high enough). It also helps a lot against energy-based weapons, which are abundant of in this game (only Improved Energy Resistance grants resistance against energy damage; Energy Resistance doesn't).

It also helps a lot against Malak's Force Storm (which can deal quite a lot of damage) as you can see in the video, provided you have a high Will save.

If D20 Star Wars wasn't so broken then needing to go through the weakening actions would have been mandatory, and made him much more imposing. As it is, yeah, having to hold back so you don't kill him before scenes trigger does kind of neuter the encounter.

Meant to say "severing the connection will not cause harm or put you in pain."

>What did you see?
>Just a man.

They had also never done it before, and clearly were pretty ignorant on the subject.

And Luke realized that at the end.

considering how broken the game's combat gets around halfway through, it's weird that there are no decent kotor 2 rebalance mods

Jake Skywalker was an apathetic mess who knew he fucked up but didn't understand what went wrong.
He embodies Zez Kai'el, not Kreia.

The real Luke, and maybe even Luuke for company, is still out there chilling out discussing Good Friends with Obi-Wan and training with Kyle

>Rely on one instakill trick so much that your other skills atrophy from lack of practice
>Guy shows up who's immune to said instakill
>Get stomped like a bitch
Nihilus was an analogy for the Jedi reliance on the Force. Him being pathetic was the entire point.

It's funny how light side is actually more OP than dark when you get enlightenment

"The real luke" is that one that turned to the dark side and served a clone of the emperor, and was responsible for the suncrusher school shooting?

You're thinking of bigger Luke

>Him being pathetic was the entire point.

he's a pathetic fight because the game is poorly balanced. he's clearly intended to be a challenging fight, which is why the fight has multiple phases and the option to sacrifice visas to make the fight easier.

the exile's immunity to nihilus' force eat is what allows you to actually challenge him, it's not supposed to trivialise the fight

A fucking +

Even that's unfair to Zez.
He at least felt the failings were of his generation of Jedi ; he didn't wish for the Order to die, only that those going forward would understand how their loss of perspective led to Exar Kun, Ulic, Revan & Malak.

>people who use more than 1 lightsaber/double bladed lightsabers
>people who use any of the special snowflake lightsaber colours instead of sticking with blue, green, yellow or red

>being a boring faggot

Would not want to be you, my dude

They didn't you tool, she got them before they got you.

>tfw no Kreia mummy
