What games let me be a mud mage?
Eurotruck simulator 2018
Wind and earth are opposing elements.
Magicka.
So are Fire and Water, your point?
Dust/Debris Tornado
Fire + Wind = Explosion Magic
Fire + Water = Acid Magic
Fire + Earth = Metal Magic
Wind + Water = Ice Magic
Wind + Earth = Lightning Magic
Water + Earth = Wood Magic
I'm creating a top-down action shooter mage game.
Give me some unique cool spells you'd like to see.
Here's one example spell: Demonic Cocoon. Target creature gets wrapped in a fleshy cocoon, being slowly devoured in few seconds, after which a lesser demon emerges from the cocoon, hostile to all.
Looking for some cool spells gameplay mechanics wise. Like how the player interacts with using the spell itself. For example a projectile you shoot out and can use again to detonate it in a shotgun burst, but it has a minimum range and it deals no damage if it doesn't detonate.
Fire + Wind + Earth + Water = Diarrhea Magic
Your game will never get made so what's the point?
necromancy and plagues
Why don't we ever get gravity magic? Imagine the fucketry one could accomplish.
Why don't we ever get Reddit magic? Imagine the fucketry one could accomplish.
more like magic + anything = autism
what is it about wizards that attracts absolute sperglords? you can talk about fantasy guns or martial arts and you just get stupid stuff like sniper grenade launchers or vibration punches, but as soon as magic comes into the picture the autism dial gets turned to 11 and you have people trying to name the intersecation of the x plane and the y dimension of the z element.
Use weird elements or just get scientific.
>magnetism can bend bullets/arrowheads,swords around you stopping damage for a short time
>sand/ash magic. Use to shunt or dart toward begins an enemy.
Honesty look at "a certain scientific railgun". The girl in that has electric powers and she used them to shoot a coin using magnetism like a fucking cannon. She also uses her electricity to manipulate metallic fragments creating a weapon that can change at will.
Earth + Wind + Fire = September Magic
Nice.
I sense someone tried to make a game before, but found out it takes too much effort and skill he does not have, probably bitches about it on AGDG, and now continues to wallow in his pathetic murk, no? :)
Would be very interesting in a 3D game or 2D platformer, where you can change the pull of gravity and create gravity wells, and then use wind magic to propel yourself about and what not.
