What games were you very hyped for its release, but you ended up very disappointed?

Zero Time Dilemma, the big 2015 blunder.
Zero Time Dilemma.
At least it has a decently eye-pleasing frame rate. the parts that aren't drawn anyway
...
christ dont remind me

World of Warcraft: Cataclysm.
I wasn't "very hyped" for most of these, but still was very disappointed.

Batman Arkham Knight
Deus Ex Mankind Divided
Bioshock Infinite
Grand Theft Auto V
Red Faction Armageddon
Saints Row 3
XCOM 2
Dishonored 2
Fable 3
Prototype 2
Hmmm
Resident Evil Revelations 2 maybe?
I really enjoyed the first and ended up absolutely HATING the 2nd.
Similar situation with Outlast 2. Really enjoyed the first, was pretty interested in the 2nd. Ended up hating it.
Adventure time: explore the dungeon because I don't know.
Well I guess I'm watching girls und panzer now.
No Man's Sky
I saw all those early bullshit trailers and ended by buying a PS4 in large part because of the idea of that game. Fuck Hello Games and that neckbearded numale faggot Sean Murray.
Ninja Gaiden 3
Space Hulk Deathwing
Phantasy Star Universe.
I really tried to enjoy it because I loved Phantasy Star Online, but the base game was awful and while AotI removed some awful stuff I still hated the base game too much to enjoy it. At least Portable 2 was pretty good.
>Arkham Knight
>Mankind Divided
>GTAV
>SR3
These were all good though.
Ultima IX. King of shitty sequels and the exact reason I have hated EA and their shitty management practices for decades.
Guild Wars 2. Still sucks to this day.
Torchlight 2. Got better with mods.
Diablo 3. Got better with RoS, still not what I expected.
>What games were you very hyped for its release, but you ended up very disappointed?
all of them for the past decade?
Every game in 2017
mgsv
The Guild 3
Skyrim. Didn't expect anything from the industry ever since. It was an eye opener, really.
This. Holy shit I think 40k is cursed to never have a decent game.
X Rebirth. Every fucking time...
Dark Souls 2 and 3
>arkham knight
Batmobile: The Game

Stillwater was a 10x better map
Chaos Gate was good when you could get it to not crash.
Halo 4, Halo 5, Halo MCC
Makes you think
I like GuP but im always amazed at how much cult following it has despite the actual tank battles being so stupid and unrealistic
You're forced to use the Batmobile maybe 15% of the game. Also it was fun as fuck and had some of the best parts. Riddler races were great and I'll fight anyone who says otherwise.
Perfect Dark Zero. I bought a 360 at launch to play that. I spent £75 on the steelbook edition, that very night. I loved Perfect Dark so much.
I have never been so disappointed with anything in my entire life.
>15%
Stop lying, don't be silly. It's forced in the majority of story missions, even when you're inside a building or under Gotham.
It really isn't. You can travel by foot/air most of the game and it's only required for a few puzzles and shitty tank sections.
>Fallout 4
Don't see how. Unless you were so cucked to believe the game could be even good. To think that people like this will express surprise when they release Fallout 5. "I was expecting something better".
Thief 4
What a tragedy
Thinly veiled Spore thread.
You know how Bethesda games works:
>new game is released
>old fans are disappointed because they expected an improved version of the previous game, target audience love the shit out of it because it's all shiny and new to them
>repeat on next game
Then they release the same game five times, plus mods and shit, and even the disappointed fans end up enjoying it.
tony hawk hd game in unreal engine
GTA V
Dark Souls 3
