"Dragon Quest Heroes III: The Hero Pirates and the Lost Treasures"
Hello, Sup Forums! I'm a fellow employe from Square-Enix japan. I have information about the next entry in "Dragon Ques Heroes" sub-series.
The plot of this game is pirate-centric, the 2 main characters are rivals this time around, they both want to be the greatest pirates ever, but of course only one can be the greatest.
Main Character profiles:
ナセン (Nasen): "Young boy from タルシア (Tarushia) that wants to be the greatest pirate ever, very rude." ダラ (Dara): "Young girl that wishes to be the best female pirate in the world, not very smart." マリーン (Mariin): "Novice female captain that's completely obsesed to find the "Lost Treasure". ダリオ (Dario): "Mysterious guy that's found incapacited in the yourney, he's very shy but knows how to use a bow" Legacy Character:

I can't confirm it really, but most likely not since they want to try something new with it.
The online mode is getting a bit of overhaul, now you don't need to search a specific map everytime, you'll see every room that's avaible at the moment, they're also considering PvP, but that's about it.

They are all made by Koei Tecmo. They are extremely low budget / high fanservice games. The only knockoff series are games like Fat Extella.

After DQH2 my utter distaste for this side series has been cemented.
Take dynasty warriors gameplay but throw in a bunch of enormous health-sponge boss enemies that your attacks awkwardly clip into with each swing. Then toss in a bunch of weird gimmick missions (who wanted extremely basic puzzle or stealth missions in their mosuo game?) and an awful story that poisons every DQ character it touches and BOOM. You have DQ heroes.
The open world stuff was so useless too. Most of the enemies haphazardly scattered around the open fields don't do anything to stop you from just running right by them.
