Why did literal space aliens show up out of nowhere in Majora's Mask? They were never referenced again in the whole franchise.
Why did literal space aliens show up out of nowhere in Majora's Mask...
Monitoring out of interest.
Same
The manual for ALTTP heavily implies that space aliens created the Triforce.
To be weird. It's a weird game.
Alternate world shenanigans, same reason Termina is so technologically advanced compared to Hyrule
...
What did they do to her?
Cremia calls them ghosts at one point. And she knows the Gormans are behind the attacks so she wasn't talking about them.
Smells like NoA-fabricated bullshit to me, son.
Aonuma was literally going crazy making the game in such a short time span so he put a lot of weird stuff in the game that came from stress related nightmares
Why? The series was originally conceived as a science fiction game.
She saw too much.
Why did they want cows?
What did Nintendo mean by this??
my dick
milksteak
who's the artist?
Future Zelda is CUTE!
Why do irl ayys want cows? Why do irl ayys shove shit up peoples' asses all the tie?
...
That's the giant saucer ship in Star Fox 64.
This shit scared the fuck out of a 10 year old me.
I was confused, scared and stressed. I sucked shooting from horse back. Before I knew it, she got abducted and turned into a vegetable.
I was over come with guilt and sadness, so I stopped playing for like 3 years. When I replayed, i made sure to kill these fucks dead.
wat
Milk.
They're referenced in Wind Waker, there's a single red star in the sky at night, just like in MM.
Bullshit
Cremia doesn't think they are real, she thinks Romani is just making up stories
The aliens in Majora's Mask were inspired by the Flatwoods monster.
That thing is reported as "real", actually. Don't know the name, but a bunch of locals saw something from the sky crash into the woods. They investigated, found a ship and that big mother fucker scared them off.
Japan sure loves the Flatwoods monster design
It's true. Go play it and see for yourself.
It's called the Flatwoods Monster.
She called them ghosts because she's a child who doesn't know anything about space or aliens.
It's pretty clear that they're supposed to be aliens since they come down from the sky in a ball of light, abduct people and fuck with them, and steal cows in a beam of light. Stealing cows a a stereotypical alien thing.
The hatches are open!
Hardly a reference
Literally an owl.
AH
SO THIS IS STAR FOX
It is though, the red star is their spaceship, as shown in MM.
Why do they have to be aliens? Can't they just be monsters?
It makes more sense for ayys to get cows instead of just monsters getting cows.
So, what happened?
does the game identify them?
Majora's Mask took place in a dream world, it's not surprising some whacky shit happened.
she looks like a stripper. I'd bang.
...
just as "them"
Cows and aliens were a meme at one time. It was a joke for the player.
...
AH
SO THIS IS STARP HOX
stuff
no she doesn't
The game refers to them as "Ghosts" canonically.
Nothing.
The bad touch.
That was a mistake, not canon
are they aliens tho
What was her deal?
ahegao fucked_silly mind_break
They are aliens, "canonically", genius.
Cool, imagine a giant ass online mode for BoTW with events like city trial or some shit like that where you had to kill each other or cooperate to get points or better loot, team up or whatever the fuck, maybe not the entire fucking map but a good chunk of it or something.
Yes...
While its canonical status remains in question, the track listing for The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask Original Soundtrack explicitly refers to the song that plays during the battle against "Them" as "Alien Attack". However, in the game, "They" are referred to as ghosts by both Romani, Cremia, and the Bombers' Notebook. This may be a false assumption though on the part of Romani, as she is likely aware of the existence of ghosts, but may not have a concept of aliens from another planet. When Cremia refers to "Them" as ghosts, however, she is probably regarding the stereotypical beliefs that a childish youth such as Romani may have. This is supported because Cremia puts the word "ghosts" in quotation marks, suggesting that she is saying this in a disapproving manner.
From le Zeldapedia
But how can aliens be real if dreams are not real because Nintendo said this shit happened in LinkĀ“s head, so, the real question is.... what did Link see during his young life to have aliens appear in his dreams?
>The series was originally conceived as a science fiction game.
[citation needed]
the triforce pieces were going to be microchips user, I don't blame user for not citing because this isn't news
That's because they likely don't have any concept of creatures from outer space. A farm girl in a medieval setting isn't going to know tropes for aliens
There's zero explanation for them anywhere in the game. They're aliens that show up for one scene and leave. It's a mystery.
like the rest of the game
Because Nintendo wanted Termina to be creepy.
she liked wearing catsuits
>Le
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>/Reddit/
It was cool
Cremia says that but she thinks Romani is making them up. She doesn't believe they're real. So that's not a canon name for them. They are very clearly meant to be aliens.
She was just sad about losing the cows
spooky
Majora's Mask was cool and creative, unlinke every other 3D Zelda
>Why did literal space aliens show up out of nowhere in Majora's Mask? They were never referenced again in the whole franchise.
Termina was just a figment of imagination from the skull kid through the power of Majora's Mask. It could have contained just about anything.
they're literally called them
Because the game was largely a joke by the developers that got taken way too seriously by its hardcore fans.
VERY SPOOKY DO NOT CLICK
A West Virginian cryptid like Mothman called the Flatwoods Monster. It's basically described as a 7 foot tall entity with a large diamond shaped cowl and a robe that appeared after a flash in the sky.
Skepetics believe based on it's description that it was probably an owl that was psychological exaggerated after witnesses saw a flash from a meteorite.
For some reason, the japanese absolutely love the thing and it's referenced in their media quite a bit. Strange enough, despite the union shape coming from a cowl japs seem to interpret the entire head being that shape.
Gimme and his robo-suit from Wonderful 101 is based on it, for example.
Keep away from my cows
>aliens show up in a UFO and abduct people
Yes dunce
Ninjas
owl
more
what's your point?
At first it was our only way to gather data, now they just do it for laughs and tradition.
well because literally it happened
That's the mystery of them and one of the things skeptics hold against them. The first thing actual alien biologists would be interested in about multicellular life is the cardiovascular system.
Instead, traditional probings from Alien abductions always focus on weird things like skin and genitalia. In fact a lot of shit involves getting a tube stuck on your junk and getting semen extracted, at least according to the accounts of the infamous communion.
This apparently goes into all the claims about grey aliens trying to hybridize with humans and claims of people meeting their hybrid children.
Why do literal space aliens show up out of nowhere in bloodborne?
>our
Why do WE want cows?
We abducted them from their homes after all.
because of the moon and period blood and also something to do with a fish lady washing up
Lobotomized her.
come on
Did you get all that?
>No
Yes
ayy lmao
>there's zero anal probe art of her out there
what the fuck
Proof?
