>Playing DS3 for the first time >Enjoying the shit out of life >Every boss except Lorian and Lothric is relatively fair and goes down within 3-5 attempts >Get to this asshole and get me shit wrecked >Move onto the DLC for a bit >Friede was awesome >First boss of the Ringed City was awesome >Go back and try this nigga and STILL get my ass wrecked
Is he really this hard or am I just terrible at video games?
Hunter Thompson
git gud
Joshua Davis
Some people find certain bosses easier than others thats all it really is.
Chase Turner
Yes, it really is hard. Even if you're there at a normal level with fully upgraded weapons, consider him a post game boss fight. I beat him twice around level 50 because his weapons are fucking amazing to invade Central Irithryll with and are also good for PvE
Jack Morgan
>friede was awesome n-nani?
Josiah Morales
>he hasn't fought midir yet
KEK
Angel Reed
lorian and lothric were the best fight in the damn game, who cares if its "fair"?
Colton Flores
>best fight in the game The *teleports behind you* bullshit got old real fast
Hunter Collins
I'VE KILLED 1000 SILVER KNIGHTS SO FAR
GOT SUMMONED 2 TIMES^IN THIS WHOLE TIME
I'VE KILLED A WHOLE RACE OF SILVER KNIGHTS
WHY DO I EVEN FARM THESE
AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH
Evan Fisher
Don't rely on lock-on during the first phase. Second phase should be easier since he is slow as fuck but don't get too greedy when you get an opening since he also hits like a truck.
Cooper Nguyen
He's a boss of a hidden area so expect him to be hard.
Charles Lee
His first phase is poorly designed because they forced the semi hidden Bloodborne visceral mechanic into it, which is oddly only found in a few other spots like with the Sulyvahn Beasts.
And he hits like a truck. So yeah, he's hard.
>tfw no Silver Knight Spear They really fucked up
Lucas Perez
The virgin dorkmoon vs the chad invader.
Owen Garcia
feels so good knowing i already have darkmoon blade on my characters from back when the game launched
first phase is a mess, second phase is about knowing the right time to attack and stamina management if you're low on stamina and hes open for you to attack use that time to heal or recover your stamina, only attack him if you're feeling comfy about doing it
he reminds me of fume knight (minus the stupid hitboxes) and artorias, you cant really just go full brainlet mode and spam r1
you will get him eventually, took me about 20 tries using the FUGS and only one using the estoc
Lucas Thomas
>The virgin dorkmoon vs the chad invader lol i'd jerk you off for that
I dont even get the chance to meet an invader
SL120 Fuck this game
Bentley Russell
tfw dark souls 2 on the ps3 is more active than dark souls 3
Isaac Martinez
sister Friede, mostly phase 3, is pretty up there in the bullshit souls bosses tier list no idea how you are having such a hard time with KotS the bird is a joke and all his attacks are pretty telegraphed
Logan Morris
It's a lot easier to invade and get invasions if you don't take your character past level 60 or +6 weapons. Take that as you will. Yes, that even means beating the dlc underleveled for crucifix of the mad king or beating nameless king around that level for the lightning spear.
Angel Perry
going for the achievo with a lvl 110 char was a pain in the ass because of this took me a whole day of farming silver knights the only other option was to restart with a low lvl char to invade as a blue boi AND THEN go look for the miracles
Nathaniel Wright
Dumb gimmick boss that fucks your camera angle up constantly is nowhere near the best
Owen Bailey
The camera angles in P1 are what's giving me the biggest headache since locking onto him is just out of the question. The few times I got to P2 I was just having a hard time picking when to attack him. I was using a Greatsword of Judgment but I went and made a +10 Crystal Lothric straightsword thinking a faster weapon would be better for a fight like this.
I know I'll eventually "git gud" enough to kill him but goddamn this is wearing me down.
I enjoyed the shit out of that fight, P3 in particular was fun, it felt like Maria all over again which was also a stellar fight. Oddly enough P1 was the part that I had the worst time with, second time I got her to P3 I was able to down her
This so hard
I stopped getting invaded after the Abyss Watchers fight and even then it was mostly by twinks. I remember I was in the early game swamp area full of crabs and some half naked asshole ran at me with a crazy ass weapon I later found out was Friede's Scythe. It was absurdly one sided.
Isaac Edwards
the dragon part is worse than the fight with the actual guy himself
Grayson Rivera
>It's a lot easier to invade and get invasions if you don't take your character past level 60 or +6 weapons. It really doesn't matter. Fear of high level invasions is just psychological and doesn't reflect reality.
Aiden Davis
>Fear of high level invasions is just psychological and doesn't reflect reality. what?
Liam Moore
>P3 in particular was fun how did you manage to not get stunlocked to death multiple tries in a row? summons or solo?
Kayden Scott
I invade at 100+ all the time and it's not more difficult. End game and dlc areas are superior for invasions too.
Brandon Williams
>able to beat freide and demon princes >still can't beat nameless king
either you cheesed the fuck out of those first two fights, or you got carried via summons. Nameless King is a joke, literally the only hard part is fighting the camera when he rides the storm chicken in P1
Luke Anderson
Solo, I used the Gael summon a couple of times but stopped after I realized he was only there after P1 and that's where I was having the most trouble.
Dylan Torres
Dark Souls isn't hard
Nathaniel Russell
>Greatsword of judgement Great fucking taste.
If you want tips for the fight though, phase 1 just stay under him whenever he swings his spear around. Phase two is about getting a hit or two in after he does that bullshit 4 hit combo or the 3 lunges. Alternatively you can just wail on him when he does the weird jumping attack thing. But when he gets to half health, just wait for the lightning strike, the lightning stomp, or the bullshit 4 hit combo to beat the shit out of him. Also, user, I need to be real with you for a second. If I could beat him at level 30 with +0 weapons, you can beat him around levels 70-90 with a +10 weapon
Blake Rogers
>end game is superior >you can't invade in the catacombs, demon ruins, Ithryll or profaned capital >superior
Gavin Martin
Maybe if you said cathedral of the deep. Grand archives and both DLCs are better than those.
William Young
If you want to invade in the cathedral you need to be around level 30 with +3 weapons though. I have another character just for invading there and the road of sacrifices, it's nothing but twinks though
