i'm seriously on the fence about this game. It looks like the one MH game i can get into, but on the other hand i'd have to pay 80 fucking bones for it.

(This means only doing the main quests and leaving tons of missions open and more hidden monsters to find)
Several types of armor sets, weapon types, and weapon upgrades to get.
One of the best PvE coop games out there with an actual fun grind.
I'd say it's worth the price, especially with friends, but that's all up to you.

But at the very least the more you grind the more powered up your weapons and armor gets, making every fight after easier.
I'd say, especially with friends, the grind is a lot better than most.

I just walk into a store and just buy games right there on release day. I've only preordered games a handful of times in my life and always go with the store pickup option. I just don't trust shipping enough to arrive on release day. I didn't preorder this game though, have a pretty good feeling I could walk in after work and buy a copy.

Actually, due to the development of artificial wombs it will eventually become possible for homosexuals to have surrogate children that share the DNA of at least one of the parents quite easily. MH is a predominantly online game user.

MonHun World is a surprisingly small game (only 13GB) but even then that would take a while to download.

But it can be played single player when people do stop playing online.
That's the difference, there is still enjoyable gameplay no matter what, even if it is a bit less fun than playing with others, 5 years from now I will still be able to play MHW because I will still have the disk.

How have you not filled up that 1TB drive already? Have you been faced with deleting multiple games?

From streams I've seen, they didn't do enough to elevate the MonHun core game. It still feels like small area mmo grinding game. Where's the big cities of players relaxing, shopping and grouping up? Or the city ruins filled with monsters inside buildings or on roof tops? Where's the 50 member group of hunters trying to take down a huge dragon? I just feel like it should be a bigger better game.

I keep my disks in their cases and the cases on my game shelf when I'm not using them and I'm not a complete clutz or a moron so I don't scratch them when taking them out of the cases.

It only takes a bare minimum of organization and care to not lose or scratch game disks. If you can't even manage that then what kind of lazy, unorganized shit heap are you?
