Fucking loved this game

...

I remember reading about this game in Nintendo Power, always looked interesting but never got around to playing it.

It's pretty much advance wars with ZOE themes and an interesting plot. Emulate it.

I remember getting so hyped while seeing commercials of it on TV, esp because I didn't play KH 1 and 2 until years later

...

...

FOBS is a literal fucking gold mine.

>mfw this was one of my favorite N64
>Never finished it because I couldn't find the last few ship parts and tribals i was missing.

wait wat
I remember hearing it was more like a VN than anything. I need to play this if it's anything like Advance Wars, I love ZOE.

>ABOUT NOW IT'S TIME TO ROCK WITH THE BIGGITY BUCK BUM-BUMBLE

I adored this game when I was little.

I never managed to beat it without cheat codes, but I still think the ability to permanently take over any enemy that you defeat is a great premise.

...

Mein negro.
I wonder when the next update will be.

Another great lewd sprite game is Echidna Wars DX.

...

...

OK I don't think this is a 10/10 (or even close to it) but I do legitimately like this game, have beaten it like 4 times. There's something to be said for that given its reputation.

If you like that concept, you gotta play Graffiti Kingdom

>Wario character action game
It's literally amazing

...

It's perfect.

>Lost planet 2
>Beatdown: Fists of Vengeance
>PSO

Shining force 3
Motoi sakuraba made this game for me
same for Shining the holy ark

...

it's also made by treasure, so there's more bosses than levels naturally

Of course! The glory that is dark souls started here!

...

The fact it's impossible to 100% this game irritated me so much as a kid that I couldn't give it a perfect score. Thank god this was made back when having cheats was common practice or it would be impossible to play the final level.

Excellent fucking taste, gentlemen.

>game becomes 170x better when there's breakbeat or drum & bass

VNDB is retarded and counts Melty Blood as a VN. Don't listen to them.

Man this reminds me of my old school days.
Not because I played the game, hell I was a Sega kid, but because everyone would play similar sounding songs and you would always hear some guy blasting something like that out of his car.

This place has gone to shit now.

>PSO

My fellow black hunter

...

XCOM: Enforcer

>dance club

This game imo has the best music of all time

Never heard of that one. Similar premise?

La Pucelle and Makai Kingdom are criminally underrated.

I don't know if I ever got more than halfway through that game, but I still remember my siblings and I turning it on to rock out to the over-the-top intro theme.

Did they have a typing tutor with these characters?

They look strangely familiar.

>No one posted it yet
youtube.com/watch?v=x7ok5AV7ZrM

Stuff that sampled the amen break definitely did sound pretty alike back then

...

Uh user

Not really.
It's sort of a Zelda-esque action-adventure game, where you use a magic paintbrush to overtake enemy creatures or paint your own in 3D. You can assign moves to them, give them the ability to fly etc.
Just be aware that the story and voice acting are dogshite, the rest of the game is great tho.

m a h nigga. The whole shining force series is 10/10 for me, but the art style and music of 3 was by far the best. It's a shame that Camelot will never make another SRPG.

Honestly all I want is a strategy rpg with a world map and exploration elements like shining force.

you're thinking of math blaster

>Filters
Disgusting

Reminds me of Drawn to Life.

But 3D.

...

Yeah, pretty sure it was one of those. A lot of those education style-games seemed to feature a trio a man, lady, and dog and/or robot.

I never hear people talk about it

>The fact it's impossible to 100%
Please explain cause I was gonna get it again

I remember playing the demo multiple times back in the day, but sadly never did look into the full game.

Was one of the levels literally broken?

I remember trying to get past one of the swamp levels days and getting seemingly nowhere with it before I gave up.

...

Emulate it or get it some other way its a good game that still holds up i go back every year or less

...

I got 45 hours in but i just couldn't keep going i just unlocked the open world but man is that game unfun to me

It's a few bucks used on Amazon. Might have have to grab it sometime.

I played it in several day chunks over the course of 6 months when I was bored with WoW.

To me it was what FF11 should have been, and makes sense considering who made it.

The story was good yet simple, although the dream sequence writing was excellent. It was HD, next gen, not cartoonish, traditional combat, music by Nobuo, crystal clear 5.1 digital audio.

Game was amazing to me.

Everything about it is just perfect to me. The music, the atmosphere, solid gameplay. It's got everything I need.

I even got every achievement, which I almost never do.

One of those requires you to have literally done everything possible in the game, that means opened/collected every item from chests, obtained every spell, spoken to everyone and exhausted all dialogue, and that's just a part of it/

I do mean do everything literally possible in the game.

The ending was a joke because I over prepared, which is how it should be.

And the DLC was fucking hard, which is also how it should be.

You can really tell they made the Golden Sun sprites by rendering them in this engine and then downsizing and pixelizing them.

Why is Link in a puzzle game?

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I played it over the course of 3 days so i burnt out quickly i should read the rest of the dreams because they are really good

I've yet to play it in HD, I played it on a 32" CRT.

I remember firing it up once when I got my 42" 720p plasma, but I was into other games.

Now it's painful to look at since I'm used to a 1440p 144hz IPS G-Sync display. Although obviously the blacks on the IPS are no contest against a plasma.

Same

Mischief Makers was bursting with creativity for an N64 sidescroller.

Wish it got a sequel.

I know it's not really 10/10.

But it's been 20 years and I still can't get the OST out of my head. I don't know why it fills me with a sense of calm.

...

I really liked it initially but it got boring and repetitive fast so I never finished it.

Oh damn, I remember that.

I liked it, but it was one of those random games that you needed an extra memory card for. So I never got further than what I could beat in one day.

DUDE. I'm about to play through this again right fucking now.

my nigga music was great too

youtu.be/Yp8_cCw3DGM

Also this, UBI soft is great

...

I remember playing with the roller coaster maker over and over when I was a lad.

GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD I JUST FINALLY GOT IT OUT

This one.

Didn’t buy the remake though

...

I can't explain it, but I fucking love this game.

I agree completely. Armored Core and its soundtracks have always been special to me.

I wish this track was in more than just the final mission

...

I 100%'d Wario World in a single sitting when I was like 11. Way too short and easy. Also, all the enemies between stages are just reskins. Also, your moveset lacks variety and you don't really get any new abilities to spice up combos. Easily Treasure's worst game.

Rite about now it's time to rock with the beeggity buck bumble

This was a great game and it even had fun split screen multiplayer

>turnbased JRPG
>being anything above 5/10

Unironically this

I fucking love this game and it's one of a kind

...

...

...

>Lost planet 2
agree so hard

That fucking train level playing co op made my dick diamonds

>your post
>anything above shit/post

...

imo that game had the most fun co-op i've played
plus one of my favorite tropes has to be playing as different characters throughout the game who all meet up at the end
