He fell off a couple months ago. Serious dunkey doesn't work for me. He dismisses every game as "shitty" now, just a typical youtuberr now.

He’s just stagnated. His style of humour hasn’t really changed since he started the channel. He’s leaning on catchphrases less, but not much else has changed.

I mean there were a shit ton of games in his 2018 review he said he liked and he was gushing over odyssey. even xenoblade which I thought he would hate, he said some good things about.

his golden age was 2012-2015 when he was making a new video every two or three days. it seems paradoxical but his quality was highest when he was pumping shit out rapidly. that shit regularly had the deepest lore and was just really creative.

I can't really hold it against him for going downhill a bit, though, he's not a college dropout living alone working on videos all day every day any more. that schedule was probably pretty taxing and he has tfw gf now, so I assume he has way less time to devote to the creative process.

He has lost it a long time ago. The only reason his videos have some sense of comedy is because of other people. I can't even go through a solo video because he is makimg cringy unfunny jokes.

recently rewatched all his league vids, and i gotta say they're probably his best work. i despise league now, but his jokes and timing were constantly on point back then.

probably like others have said, he just has his fiancee and fame to deal with now. he's still my favorite youtuber, he just doesnt put out as much now.

My wife gave me a shit haircut once when we first got together and recently revealed it was so that no one else would find me attractive. Women are actually crazy.

I still find myself quietly mumbling "Pet me horse. Pet me horse. Pet me horse. Not, that, horse..." to myself. Old Dunkey had a way of sticking in your head. Now Dunkey sounds more mature and has better opinions on videogames, but he hardly even makes jokes anymore and most of his "funny" videos are just him yelling on streams.

The quality of his videos seem fairly consistent, for at least the past ~5 years. It's mostly silly voiceovers of him being overconfident and fucking up, and then there's the occasional videos where he articulates as needed.

I will say his comedy style is fairly predictable and hinge on the game being inherently silly, but I still enjoy it nonetheless.
