I thought playing around with spears and torches in King Kong was way more fun than it had a right to be.

I'll forgive a lot of flaws in the new spiderman game as long as it just keeps similar swinging mechanics and new fun random events like Spiderman 2.

Yeah, I expected way more Kong levels, but the FPS parts were still a lot of fun.

Fellowship is the worst movie though.

Haven't played it, but I hear X-Men Origins: Wolverine is supposed to be a good licensed game.

I thought Fellowship felt the most rushed in terms of pacing, but I really loved the tone and atmosphere. Bits like Helms Deep were a great spectacle, but didn't have quite the same weight for me that Moria did.

Replaying Spiderman 2 recently, and it's funny how much of a kick I get out of some of the writing and narration at times.

Everyone remembers it for the great web swinging, but there's a colorful cast of extra villains, and it's funny that things like Peter's relationship with Black Cat and the choice of what kind of life he wants to live almost come across better in the game than any actual chemistry he had with Mary Jane in the movie.

The Phantom Menace game. Even though it's aged like fine milk it was surprisingly good back in the day. The Tatooine levels were so much fun to fuck around in.

This was so fucking good. Played it a shitton with my brother and I always picked Obi-wan. Had so much fun reflecting back laser projectiles back to the enemy.

Even though the game was short it was fucking great and had a load of features. Also, the monster fighting levels were just as good/fun as the FPS levels, which is really fucking odd and I was honestly expecting to just hate the FPS stuff and just want to rush to the next Monster fight.

I'm actually trying to hunt this game down. A Batman game with a huge focus on stealth was genius at the time. The Arkham games were largely inspired by this game.

This game was shit. I rented it when it first came out because every faggot was raving about it, didn't bother finishing it, returned it early.

And this is coming from someone who really liked the Spiderman 1 movie game.

Fuck empty open worlds. That game was the beginning of boring open world capeshit.

I do not understand the praise either. I think it has to do with the "bad movie game" meme as well as it being one of the earlier open world/free roam games for consoles, that came out post GTA 3.

This game is so fun in coop, me and my brother would play it all the time

Rewatched the whole extended trilogy last year. Fellowship is the best one. Watching TT and ROTK straight after makes the 2nd and 3rd movie look like comedy summer flicks in comparison.
