original, and for the love of god dont get into modding

original with mods

Why the hell would you recommend Skyrim LE to someone that doesn't plan to mod?

Vanilla for modding until SKSE comes out and we get ports of the other mods
Special edition otherwise.
is a retard

agreed

Everyone should do at least a little bit of modding in that game, I honestly believe that.

Like UI. In vanilla it's so incompetent it's unreal. You have no excuse for not replacing it with SkyUI.

Does the SE still need mods like the Flora/Fauna overhaul ?

did i say i played skyrim? mods make the shit game even worse, kill yourself

Of course, it's not like anything changed in that area. Supposedly Beth altered the grass mesh, but it looks as shit as ever.

is the flora/fauna important to the gameplay in Skyrim in any tangible way?

So what the hell does the SE do

Cool stateent, shame you can't back it up.

it's a one to one copy of og skyrim with a piss filter at sunset and some badly done godrays that show up like 10% of the time.

earn money for Bethetic devs?

Get the original with dlc. As it's the most original experience. It also is the best version if you ever wanted to start modding later down the line.

Helps immersion without changing the gameplay or the way they intended you to play.

Pretty sure leaf/branch density is up in SE.

and put unnecessary pressure on the game files

Changes it to a 64bit executable, which does good things to stability.
Fixed the shadows. They're no longer a striped mess.
Changed lighting somewhat, added FO4 shit like godrays.

nope, they didn't change a single line of code apart from what needed to be done to port it to dx11

it runs on the fallout 4 engine and is much more stable as a result

The shadow change sounds good, can the sun piss filter be disabled ?

Well, not in vanilla, but weather mods or reshade do it easily.

use obsidion weathers and nvt enb

and enjoy stable 15 fps gameplay

How's that i3/750ti working out for you?

runs solid 60 for me,sse I get probably 50% performance increase over 2011 skyrim. jks skyrim and etac run amazing when converted,

that fucking blur

you can turn it off

You need mods to fix the dozens of crashes that bethesdacode causes, and unfucking performance.
Use legendary edition not special edition, 64 bit binaries don't do anything the current method of more memory allocation doesn't do unless you're a modder.
