Ratchet & Clank were better overall (3>2>1) though jak & Daxter 1 is specially good
I enjoyed the edgyness of 2 and 3 because I was a teenager at the time tho
Jak 1 > all Ratchets > Jak 2 and 3
respectable opinion
Ratchet and Clank. The series, overall, has a better, more focused vision and owns its quirks and charm.
Had Jak and Daxter stuck to its original design philosophy and actually tried to better its formula, maybe it could compare.
I guess its unanimous lol
Ratchet 2+3>Jak 1>Ratchet 1>Jak 2+3>everything else
In the world?
What in the actual fuck happened at Naughty Dog between Jak 1 and 2? Its like they became another company all the sudden and stayed that way.
Jak had hotter chicks
I like Jak but Ratchet's just the better series.
Also Jak 2 > 3.
Jak and Daxter is so dissimilar to Jak 2/3 and Ratchet & Clank it doesn't really make sense to try to compare or rate them based off one another.
But if I had to say which games I found more enjoyable overall rather than comparing mechanics is my opinion as well.
Pretty much my view
I always felt that Jak 2 was massively underrated due to people dropping it in the first ten minutes because of edge even though that was the extent of the edge and it was pretty much gone after that.
This.
Though as a series overall, Ratchet and Clank is overall the most consistent in quality, even if mediocre entries like Up Your Arsenal or the reboot exist.
played the living shit out of Jak 3
Jak 3 > any jak or ratched game imho
I can't say I completely disagree. Idk why its so much fun.

Heavens no
Overall Ratchet had better games but I'd put Jak 1 over all the Ratchet games. The Jak series fell off hard after the first game, with Jak X being decent enough.
well we all know which series had the best music
>jak & Daxter 1 is specially good
It was pretty much the last game I can remember in that style (open world action/adventure/puzzle/exploration).
The edginess is still enjoyable to me, but because it's funny rather than what I thought was cool at the time.
I dropped Jak 2 so many times because I thought it was too hard.
I still held the opinion when I completed it when I was 20
