Not that I really dislike the radio songs in 3, but the reason for why they picked those songs is obvious and I prefer how the songs in NV is actually enjoyable to listen to and sets the mood.

Songs like Civilization and Let's Go Sunning were chosen because they're ironic more than anything which is kind of funny but also a little annoyingly meta after a while.

I actually find sitting in the 188's bar at night with a mod for actually dark nocturnal skies as my followers roam around idly while I listen to the radio to be the comfiest I've ever been in Vegas.

There's good RPGs out there, but New Vegas has got to be the best one where you're just a blank slate. No other game let's me play me roleplay as much as NV

Probably, they were together ever since Sawyer was a web designer and Avellone`s real problem was the management, not based balanceman.

I've never really had that much trouble with it. I don't get people who complain about the gas pockets or the radios; they are pretty easy to avoid and I've only died by one of those, and it was in the final stage where they are all put very close.

Sure I played it on hardcore. It wasn't that much of a difference. I still needed to be careful around bear traps and consume food to keep up with the cloud's effects, but going at it with only half your life bar full ain't so bad. Specially since that sort if exposure to the cloud isn't even lethal.
