Do people here actually LIKE video games? It seems that every game is considered crap, from popular games with dozens of prizes to indie games. I understand the post-teen rage and desire to be contrarian, i.e. "if everyone else is into Skyrim / FIFA / Witcher 3 / Dark Souls, it means I should not enjoy playing them", but if there is literally no video game that is acknowledged as a masterpiece on this board, maybe the problem lies with you. It's not about being "hardcore" or "demanding". It's like music, if you consistently bash all bands and composers and consider all music a piece of shit, you probably don't like music.
Besides, the way Sup Forums posters describe games they dislike (for being too popular or whatever reason) is full of genuine hate. Instead of ignoring a game they dislike, Sup Forums posters indulge in autistic rage. The amount of shitposting shocked me and I come from fucking Sup Forums, go figure.
