Honestly I hated most of these games. In fact, only Mega Gear Solid 1 is good. The second one was a shit in the face of anyone who liked the first game, ask anyone who played it on release. And every title thereafter was regarded as something of a downgrade or disappointment.

If V didn't tell it's shitfest of a story mostly through gameplay and instead relied on cutscenes as heavily as 4 did, I would have dropped it halfway through
