This game had such a good map design and feeling to it, those yummy desert maps.
Really was the epitome of push maps. Conquest was a bit shit in BC2, but lots of memories with even randoms being able to push along the front as a squad.
This map had a no mans land before the train with tonnes of grenade spam on the right side from memory.
It's pretty pathetic that Dice can't figure out why bc2 is special. I'd say it's almost entirely due to the map design and destruction.
>any battlefield past 2142
>good
>war game
>comfy
Fuck you and this retarded meme
I think it's because they started just doing yearly rehashes. why the fuck would I want to buy a full price "new" version of a game I already have
I'd enjoy rehashed maps if they actually made decent choices. Metro and Wake Island continuing onward showed their developing incompetence.
BC2 wasn’t even that good
...
You are right. It wasn't that good at all. It was that great.
Poor taste, here is your (You)
Bad Company 2 was the last legitimately great FPS game to be made. Why is that?
They will never recapture the Magic
who an 94 here
Because you're a jaded faggot
>not D44M
>comfy
It Ain't Me starts playing
>Really was the epitome of push maps. Conquest was a bit shit in BC2
maps were designed for rush. hence why they were all essentially straight lines
I was mad as hell when they didn't have proper music in the dlc
>GRANATA PASHLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
The last good mainline BF was BF2142
BF:BC and BC2 are way better than anything that came out from DICE ever since, despite being made fun of at the time of their release and having a different focus.
I'm so glad Battlefront2 got some backlash, but I doubt even that will make DICE a good dev. I think they will forever be absolute shit now, no turning back. Oh well, yet another franchise on my permanent ignore list.
BOOGEY MAN 2
It really wasn't. It's a fairly shallow game with bad hitboxes and fairly linear maps. It came out at just the right time to be a solid alternative to COD though. That and the foot soldier gameplay was pretty solid.
>tfw wanted to go back playing bc2 but remember that there's no longer any vanilla server left
Because you haven't played Titanfall2, clearly.
In our climate being jaded is a positive trait. So much shit is thrown at us expecting to stick that I don't have any tolerance for any of it anymore
Doom 2016 is incredibly overrated. The graphics and controls hold up, sure, but being locked in arenas with bots is simply completely retarded as the fundamental gameplay design of the entire campaign. It is not fun to circle strafe shooting at small amounts of enemies and putting absolutely no thought into my positioning or tactically dealing with enemies because I have to stay there until they're all dead and they slowly spawn in so I can't be overwhelmed. It's really so much less fun than the original doom games that I replay constantly
Titanfall 2 is the epitome of "everything else is such shit that the first thing that tries anything even remotely fun is hailed as a masterpiece". The campaign was fun for sure but way too fucking easy and the multiplayer maps are disappointing, as is the permanently low number of PC players. Good game through and through though, don't get me wrong. But if it came out 10 years ago hardly anyone would give a shit
Godddd I'll never forget instantly being torn away from my cod addiction because of that beta
What does this mean user? Is Bad company 3 confirmed??!!
Anybody else have twice as fun in the beta than the actual game?
t. Halo 3
I wasn't refering to the campaign. Only MP.
Titanfall2 is genuinely good regardless of release date, so I disagree with you. There are but a handful of games where you can fly through maps outside of Quake/Unreal, so I don't understand how you can even remotely say Titanfall2 only stands out due to the current FPS environment.
lets see how they shit on BF BC3 thats been announced in the making
yeah dice accounced theyre making a new bad company
this
Bad Company 2 was okay, but it felt like a totally different franchise
>8 v 8 "Battlefield"
Face it this series was Dice's cheap response to CoD's popularity.
how come 64v64 BF3, BF4, BF1, BFront, BFront2 are worse games then?
Boring headless-chicken chaotic trash because mechanics and too simple and classes are not specialized enough. Current DICE mainstream game design does NOT work for 64vs64.
Old BF is like the classic MMO trinity (Tank + DPS + Healer) where each person had to fill a niche and relied on someone else, current BF is like a MMO like GW2 without a trinity, "Everyone can do everything! Isn't this fun? No need to rely on teammates!"
The vietnam DLC is best dlc ever released
...
Too bad it's infested with Snipers these days
>bad hitboxes and fairly linear maps
Not really
> It came out at just the right time to be a solid alternative to COD
Call of Duty was already shit by the time BFBC2 came out. It had succes because it was great and had everything COD didn't have : Choppers, quads, tanks, static launchers and machineguns, big destructible maps and a fucking awesome; action-packed gameplay
Dice can't figure out why BC2 was the best and most popular. It was also the last battlefield that didn't require origin for PC users.
Really makes you think.
Get good, faggot
If you could see clearly from where you are that would be unfair
