Finally you can play old shitty games. You must be so happy.
why do you think they're shitty?
>20+1 GAMES PRE-INSTALLED
Well, can't beat that.
not everyone can achieve that
What's it like being retarded?
Yes they can
what emulater?
most people do not want to waste time setting up a program and download all the roms to play a few of the games from the selection
Why didnt you just buy a rasberry pi for half the price and play literally any retro game you want?
...
>waste time
Then only download the ones you'll play?
Are you dense?
Name?
You are dumb
I am smart
i got pic related
What is that? A droid part?
Snes9x or bsnes

It’s a mini computer with hdmi out that emulates everyting upto ps1 games.
And why would I want that? There's a limit to how many old games I want to play and it's zero.
>And why would I want that?
They were trying to grab your prize.
Can't help but appreciate the convenience. I went the raspberry pi route, but I'm still not done setting up every rom and feature I want yet. The idea of a ready to go unit is appealing. Same with skyrim mods on console. I prefer pc but I do like the ease of access on the ps4 mod page.
Did you go with Retropie instead of Lakka?
Its one time convienence. You have to set up a Rasberry Pi once and then, for the rest of the time you have it, any time you want to add a game you can easily do so. As opposed to the SNES classic where you're stuck with what you got. And even of the games it has, only 3-4 are worth playing all the way through.
You can MOD it and add more faggot
At that point, why not just go for a pi?
Honestly, I can understand why people do this. I like messing around with this kind of thing for fun, but sometimes I'm tired and I just want to plug something in and have it work perfect. I would seriously buy a retro Game Boy or GBA if they released it again. It's nice to be able to quickly relive your childhood without trying to troubleshoot an obscure problem you happened to encounter doing something else.
>you know, it was fun setting up lakka on my pi in five minutes and being able to play any game from most consoles, but you know what'd be better since I'm tired
>going out and searching for an item that's hard to find so I can pay an inflated price so I can play 20+1 games
Or just use a PC.
I got one too.
I still have a Snes Classic though. Retropie is actually a real pain in the ass to setup in certain situations, and if you say, set it up on a 1080p monitor and then switch to a 720p TV the image gets all fucked up and you'd have to remotely connect to it and reconfigure all the configuration files to render it correctly, especially if you want borders or overlays.
Snes classic is just 720p only. That is actually a good thing because it will look pretty uniform on most TVs.
Plus the controllers are pretty good too on it. Very responsive.
Good for you! Have fun. The console only holds like 90% of all good SNES games anyway
Great buy.
The controllers are fucking awesome, pure nintendo 90's magic.
Now make a top 100 snes games and put on it with hakachi, its pretty simple takes likes 3 minutes.
