Your children will want to start with whatever console is the latest on the market, like always. The best you can hope for is starting them one generation late if you can't afford a new console.

You'd be better off instilling them to try out something deeper from their own generation of games and them slowly talking about the great hits of the past until he decides to try them out himself, then you can guide him into KOTOR and maybe he'll appreciate it for what it is, or what it contributed to the games he plays now, instead of starting him on that and him hating the game in question because his sperg of a father doesn't want him to play what his friends are playing
