Please help, I am bored as fuck and got no other platforms to play on right now.

if you're bored then Furi. It's fast paced and intense.
Kinda low replayable value though.

It looks good, but it doesn't seem long so I'm not sure.

Darkest Dungeon.

You see.. The darkest dungeon is all about making the best out of a bad situation hehe.. Hehehehehee

forget that junk, bomberman

Revelations 2. Fuck indie trash.

Why didn't you get the dpad ones instead. We're they easy to change?
I hear good things about Golf Story but haven't played it.

Celeste apparently is good and is coming out soon

Is the switch version of darkest dungeon any different from the pc one? I want to get it, preferably on the switch.

Snake pass or sonic mania good games replayability.

I came to this thread just to post this

Wait for Crypt of the Necrodancer, it comes out on 1 FEB for japan.

Mighty Gunvolt Burst

Golf Story

whats with all the low quality indie games on switch? Did they just release a huge humble bundle or some shit?

If you've never played it before I'd suggest getting it on the pc, It's best played on pc with a mouse. Unfortunately the controls are a bit clunky with a controller. The switch is 720p undocked which is normal but the docked resolution is also 720p. This is a big turnoff for me. The difference on screen is quite big, depending on your tv/monitor ofc

So unless you're gonna rock that portability, I'd suggest picking up a key cheap from allkeyshop for like €7 and have a good time. Darkest Dungeon is quite a classic

Snake Pass, Has Been Heroes, Battle Chef Brigade, or Darkest Dungeon

The End is Nigh is good grab for a thirty buck phsyical copy
got one for like 25 used, good McMullen title

This 100x

Celeste. Came out today. 94 metascore so far.

Celeste looks fucking good

Or Kingdom: New Lands for ultimate in cost-time ratio. Really the Switch has too many fun, poppable indie games to count.

On the topic of Switch games, does anyone know what would be the easiest way to get MHXX for the Switch? Is it as simple as buying it from the Japanese e-shop, or do I need to import it? How's the online? With MHW's PC released being delayed until fall and with only Odyssey for my Switch, I was interested in getting something I can sink some time into.

dont get furi its nothing but boss fights

golf story or darkest dungeon are both better choices

Get the Nintendo Labo, I hear everyone here is super into it!

shit taste

This.

they released a bunch 5-10 year old indies for £15 each and everyone is jizzing other it for some reason

sorry i dont like losing till i figure out the very autistic pattern

Thanks the resolution isn't that much of an issue since I was thinking of playing it undocked anyways

guys, I think that's a robot

Do people unironically like Snake Pass?

Gonna buy it for my sons thanks for the recomendation faggot.

It looks like every other indie platformer released over the last 5 years, am I missing something?

I see, enjoy! Don't Google too much, kinda takes away the experience. Darkest Dungeon gameplay does complement the portability of the switch.

Yes But ironically I buy it the first time I got my switch and I have fun 100% it.

Golf Story. It's cheap, pretty lenghty and Switch exclusive.

Sonic mania.

that is a sexy looking switch

They're making a new one with multiplayer though.

Furi of my favorite newer games. It has two very different difficulty modes and a speedrun mode if you're into that. It's worth $20 if you think you might like it.
Golf story is fun and relaxing. Great game.
Steamworld Dig 2 was alright. Not very long or challenging but interesting enough to keep me playing.
I'm going to buy Celeste tonight. It's supposed to have 600+ levels and get pretty challenging.

Buy it from the Japanese Eshop.
After you make a 2nd Japanese profile you can get monster hunter, Dragon quest, Seguan keguae or whatever the fuck the touchy feely game is spelled like all from the Japanese Eshop.
No region locking for the win!

should i get darkest dungeon on pc or switch? i hear controls suck and text is small on switch version, but that kind of game sounds top comfy in bed.

If you got the money get Splatoon 2. After 120 hours I'm still not tired of it.

I've only played the first stage and the hard version of it, and so far it doesn't seem too special besides the normal version of the stage having several secrets. The stage also branched a bit through secret/alternative rooms. The level design and controls are great, and the hard version was pretty challenging for being the first stage. I'm expecting there to be a lot more to the game considering the file size is over 1GB.

If you don't get Darkest Dungeon you are a fucking faggot.

The worst part I've neither finished or got tired literally all my games.
BOTW, Skyrim (I've clocked over 60 hours) Splatoon 2, Xenoblade 2, DOOM, Revelations 1 & 2, Bing bong wahoo, Mario Kart 8 DX, Pokken DX, Arms.
All completed and I'm starving for new games
Switch is the best and worst thing to happen to gaming.
I actually finish my games now but when Switch dry season hits it hurts like hell.

Is that your wife's son?

Don't get me wrong user, I love my switch been playing Darkest Dungeon nonstop since it launched in it, but don't Skyrim and DOOM run like complete ass?

I'm not going to highly recommend this game because it lacks polish, but Earth Wars is a very cheap knockoff Vanillaware game that you play through in short missions. For some reason, it's $4.50 on Switch and $30 on everything else. Pic is from the Steam version (called Earth's Dawn even though it's the same game) and I think the Switch version might have lower res assets. Apart from that, the game seems to run fine on Switch. The gameplay itself kinda reminds me of Muramasa.

Every game on switch is a snore. It's the most boring console I've ever owned and if it wasn't for MK8D I would have sold it by now.

By knock off Vanillaware you mean it's a budget game from Vanillaware? or that it tries to look like one but isn't related at all?

The latter. It's made by a different Japanese developer.

Faster to port indie shovel ware than a large game that needs extensive Q&A.

It’s Super Meat Boy tier. Sometimes indie platformers can be classics.

Golf story, dude. It's goddamn amazing, I love it. Also, if that's yours, sick recolor on the controllers

>Should I get Golf Story, Furi, or Darkest Dungeon?
Out of those? Golf Story. It's great.
Though if you disliked Mario Golf for the gameboys I wouldn't recommend it. But if you did, then I very much recommend it.

golf story

>$30
What the fug?

Also there's Picross S if you like puzzles.

If you have a JP account you can get the second JB Harold which is like a point and click detective game.

Also to anyone curious, NuDoom is suprsingly good once you set it up.

Looking more into it, it seems there was a physical release on PS4 that went down to $15. I have no idea why they went so cheap on Switch unlike pretty much everyone else.

How hard is it to do custom joycons? I've seen videos but how hard was it for you guys?
