Why aren't you playing one of the only good early access games?

why aren't you playing one of the only good early access games?

It's early access, not enough content.

I fucking hate deckbuilders, and yet this game is literally so good. I can't stop fucking playing it.
Extremely false unless you're just really good at deckbuilders.

I have nothing left to do in the game

yeah i've never been a fan of any card game but i really think this one is something special. over 50 hours so far after buying it during winter sale.

>Get no good defend cards
>Lose run

It's very shallow, they need to ramp the difficulty the fuck up so you are actually required to have a good deck to finish it.

i'm hoping a major content update/3rd character comes out soon because i'm slowly getting to this point, everything unlocked and some decent scores and my interest is waning a little bit

Got bored pretty fast, refunded it

Have you never played a roguelike before?

also the chances of not seeing any shrug it off at the very least is basically 0. i think he's just bad

>early access
NO

>we fused card games and roguelikes together

I'll pass.

I've had several runs where I didn't get any shrug it offs until floor 3, the fact that lvling up ends up unlocking cards that mostly only work with particular decks doesn't really help either

that sounds like insane bad luck. i can usually brute force a decent block deck by floor 2

this and dead cells round out the top 3 ;)

>fused card games and roguelikes together

I already did, and still do. I'm just waiting for the 3rd character.

>We fused card games and roguelikes together
I can bet my firstborn that the developers doesn't know what roguelike is and just added it because the game got permadeath or random dungeons

that's not crawl

I hope the RNG gets toned down a little. I understand it's a part of the genre but it's frustrating to beat the first boss and essentially chose how I want to ruin the run. The end floor boss relics shouldn't have downsides. Save that for the shop relics, or the elite mob relics.

Are you one of those people that dont acknowledge the rogue lite genre because of some bizarre notion that it takes away from rogue likes?

Because I'd rather wait for the full release than play bits of a game.

What is this Ascension mode? I kinda unlocked everything month ago, even before game blew up on twitch, and never played since.

Got bored after completing the game with Silent with an armor up build. Kinda regret buying it but I've played it too much to refund, so at least it entertained me for a little while.

i honestly don't think the RNG is that bad. with a lot of choice between cards its easy to build towards what you want, yeah some relics are trash but you don't HAVE to take them.

Game is awesome and incredibly fun, but RNG sometimes fucks you over monumentally. Also, a lot of the encounters are way too unbalanced (malleable plant thing comes to mind instantly).

Can you skip the floor boss relics? I honestly havnt tried and it's frustrating that usually you're pigionholed into the 1 relic that doesn't have a downside, or they all have downsides.

yeah you can skip everything.

Well thats something, I guess. I dunno, I still think its crummy to have the easier elite mobs be more rewarding than the floor bosses.

>unlock everything
>most unlocked cards are hot garbage
>stop playing until full release

yeah it sucks when you're stuck with shit like no intents/+2 str enemies for energy. velvet choker OP as fuck on ironclad though. DESU the more i play the more likely i am to skip cards/relics if they don't actively make my build better. skipping is too good

No intents is not that bad once you learn all the enemies and learn that they can't do the same move 3 times in a row, although playing proactively instead of reactively is tough and requires good block cards to do so

>roguelike
>deckbuilder

Hard pass.

this looks like something i would enjoy but honestly i don't like the idea of playing an early access game especialy with the whole "we planned 3 classes but here's only 2 lol"

i thought the same but ended up grabbing it and there's a lot of different synergies/builds/shit to deal with with just two characters. i'm honestly a bit worried the 3rd one wont be as fleshed out as the two currently available.

woah

>Card games

No thank you.

They made a hotfix a moment ago. You should see it now, provided you unlocked it.

Good grief OP, if you're going to shill, do it right.
This game is actually more akin to single-player Dominion, with FTL's progression where you have to keep moving forward and Risk of Rain's items. The enemies you fight aren't just NPC's using the same decks; they're monsters that have their own skills and abilities that you plan your deck around.

I like it because I'm a fan of single-player card games since Shandalar.

I will play it when its done. There are already shitload of good games to try.

either samefag or the kids have gotten out of school

boot up your overwatch clients, you brainlet turds :)

Because I'm a retarded 4channer who lacks the iq to play a card game

So is this the game every streamer's playing nowadays? Will it be Binding of Isaac 2.0: Pot of Greed edition?
